I can definitely relate (no pun intended) to these! After numerous inquiries -- all to no avail -- regarding the burial place of my great grandparents MILLER, I was able to write to the cemetery and received the response, "Your great grandparents do not have a permanent marker, there are only old metal markers where their graves are." My great grandparents have been without a marker for over *60* years, and they did have several children that survived them (out of the 12 born). So, *when* I know beyond a shadow of doubt the maiden name of my great grandmother, it is my goal to order a double headstone and travel to the cemetery in Pennsylvania to watch it placed on their unmarked graves!
