Hugh Jordan had a daughter Martha or Margaret who married James McCracken. They had a daughter Jane who married James Sharp and their daughter Margaret Ann married Charles Helper. Charles had Theodora (Dora) who married William Wood and their middle child was Inez Wood who left Clearfield County and Grampian in 1915 to a different life. Inez's daughter came back and married a first cousin by marriage and then there was myself. I do not have Hugh Jordan back in VA or MD where he came from. There is some information I found that I thought told of his parents, but the places and dates were not quite right. As I am on the distaff of the family the whole way down, finding the males lines is difficult. Dora and William Wood's marriage was not a happy one and Inez and Gertrude (Daisy) her sister would never speak of their father or brother. It was not until both died that my family looked up the brother's death certificate and put up a head stone. Jean
