Maola R Henderson Former Derry resident, member of Methodist Church, Sharon Maola R Henderson, 98, of John 23rd Home, Hermitage, formerly of Derry, died Tuesday July 13, 1999 at the home. Mrs. Henderson was born July 23, 1900 in Donegal Twp., Westmoreland County, daughter of the late Harry Wilbur and Lala Rager McKlveen. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Sharon. She is survived by her son Richard M., Hermitage; her daughter Janet Wilkens, Bryen, Texas; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter J., whom she married Oct. 17, 1921, and who died May 30, 1981; children Walter Jr., Harry "Bob" and Lala Turnbull; a great granddaughter, her brothers Abb, Pete and Mac. Graveside services were held Thursday at Coles Cemetery, Derry, rev. Richard M. Henderson 49, of Bolivar RD 1, died Wednesday, March 9, 1983 in Johnstown. Mr. Henderson was born Aug. 20, 1933 in Lockport, son of Boyd and Iva Lute Henderson, New Florence RD 2. He was a member of United Mine Workers Local 1257. Survivors other than his parents include his wife, Natalie Rabickow Henderson; children Christina Ann LaRosse, New Florence RD 1, Renee Lynn Long, Bolivar RD 1, Nadine Beth Bealonis, Seward and Nina Faye and Bruce Wayne Jr., at home; Also surviving are a granddaughter; brothers and sisters Norman, and Beatrice McKinney, New Florence RD 1, Mona Boring, New Florence RD 2, David, Bolivar RD 1 and Rowland, Williamsport. Services were held Sunday at First Church of Christ, West Bolivar, Rev. Kenneth Neal officiating. Interment followed in Germany Lutheran Cemetery. Edward J. Speidel Funeral Home, Bolivar in charge. ========================================= HENDERSON Walter Henderson Walter Wayne Henderson, 58, of Erie, formerly of Bolivar, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 1979 in Lee Hospital, Johnstown. Mr. Henderson was born Oct. 28, 1920, in Fairfield Twp. a son of the late Walter and Jessie (Baird) Henderson. Mr. Henderson is survived by these sisters: Mrs. Winona Gamble of West Bolivar, and Mrs. Theresa McClure of Bolivar. He made his home with Mrs. Iva Grubbs of Erie. Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Edward J. Speidel Funeral Home Bolivar, with the Rev. Donald Stanley officiating. Burial was in Fort Palmer Cemetery.
