Henderson, 70 of Derry RD 2 died in Latrobe Area Hospital Sunday morning (7-3-1977) He was born in Derry Twp. Jan. 9, 1907, a son of the late Elia B. Henderson and Elizabeth Myers Henderson. He was a member of the American Greek Beneficial Society. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Percha Henderson, Aug. 15, 1972. He is survived by three sons; Edward of Derry RD 2, Clarence L. of Port View, Pa. and Walter of Greensburg, four daughters, Mrs. Stephen (Helen) Pavel of Trenton, Mich., Mrs. James (Elizabeth) McDowell of Derry RD 2, Mrs. Rose King of Trenton, Mich., and Mrs. William (Pauline) Harr of Riverview, Mich.; one brother, H. Nobel Henderson of Lincoln Borough, and 15 grandchildren. The family will receive friends in the John J. Lopatich Funeral Home, Latrobe, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery. ============================================= Ford C. Henderson Jr. Trinity Member, Retired Welder Ford C. Henderson Jr. 64, of Hostetter died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2001, in Latrobe Area Hospital. Born March 30, 1937, in Derry, he was a son of the late Ford Sr. and June (Hunter) Henderson. A member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Latrobe, he was retired from T & L Engineering, New Kensington, where he was a pipe line welder. He was a member of Army Reserve Company L, a lifetime member of Old Crabtree Sportsmen's Association and a member of Frontier Club, Latrobe, and the Kingston Veteran's and Sportsman"s Association Club. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Viola Patrick, and a brother, Paul Edward Henderson. Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann Snyder Henderson; three daughters, Kimberly Essary (and her husband, Michael) of Austin, Texas, Lisa Marie Lamosek (and her husband, Anthony) of Lartobe RD 6 and Amanda Leigh Gardner (and her husband, Michael) of Hosteter; three brothers, Barry Henderson (and his wife, Jenny) of Derry, Dennis Henderson (and his wife, Sachiko) of California and Ronald Henderson) of Hostetter; five sisters, Ann Thompson (and her husband, Herbert) of Latrobe, June Torris (and her husband, Robert) of Garland, Texas, Janet Horrell (and her husband, Thomas), Joyce Pochet (and her husband, Richard), all of Ligonier, and Debbie Lipinski of Greensburg; four grandchildren, Cory Essary, Emily Essary, Amber Lamosek and Tony Lamosek, and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in John J. Lopatich Funeral Home Inc., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Latrobe, with the Trinity clergy officiating.
