Jocelyn and Beverly - Thanks so much for quick reply. It does help. My next step was to track down the address for Bertha and George's address. She died in 1938, and he remarried, (Esther?) Heberling Marsh, a widow. My cousin says he sold his house and they lived in hers. So that answers one puzzle - they must've been neighbors. And I don't know why I hadn't looked for a cemetery listing, but I will see if there is one for Rumbarger, or who has the papers. From what I've heard it has been, for all purposes, abandoned.
