Sorry, can't find them in 1910 anywhere. Tried first names, soundex on surname, even PENDAN, PENDEN as in the 1880 census. Maybe someone else will have better luck. -----Original Message----- From: ddubarry [mailto:ddubarry@verizon.net] Sent: Monday, October 03, 2005 8:43 PM To: PACLEARF-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [Clearfield] 1910 PEDEN Lookup Request Does Some Kind Soul have access to 1910 Census Indexes? Seeking PEDEN, James and/or wife "Annie B" PEDEN in Clearfield Co, probably Decatur Twp,/Osceola Mills, in 1910. In 1900, this couple is in Decatur Twp, Clearfield Co, ED 59, page 219A Peden, James, age 65, b. 1835 in Scotland Peden, Annie B, age 60, b 1840 in Ireland. Would love to know if either/both are alive in 1910 census -- trying to narrow down year(s) of death to get death certs -- I do not know when either of them died or where buried. (Relatively sure they are both buried in/around Decatur Twp/Osceola area as all but one of Annie's grown children lived in that area at that time) Annie B. is my great-great grandmother and I have been "hunting her" for many years! If anyone can help, I would be very grateful! Luann
Luann, A couple of suggestions.... Since your people probably died between 1900 and 1910, you may be able to find them by obtaining an obituary. Try and locate a library in the area you think they died to see if they can find them. Most libraries have the people indexed, so you might get lucky. I find libraries through the on-line white pages. If they died before about 1905, the county may have a record of their deaths. You can find addresses and fees through http://www.vitalrec.com. Also, try 'Random Acts of Genealogy Kindness' http://www.raogk.org to see if there's a volunteer that would help. Good luck, Bev in Calif. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jocelynn Knight" <jocelynnknight@mchsi.com> To: <PACLEARF-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, October 03, 2005 7:44 PM Subject: RE: [Clearfield] 1910 PEDEN Lookup Request > Sorry, can't find them in 1910 anywhere.
