THE PROGRESS, Clearfield, PA Friday, August 2, 1974 Pg. 14 Lloyd Laury Funeral services for Lloyd Laury, 76, of 109 Clark St., Clearfield, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday from the Fred B. Leavy Funeral Home, Clearfield. The Rev. Lewis Henry will officiate with interment in Hillcrest Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and until the services Monday. Mr. Laury died Wednesday morning in the Clearfield Hospital. He was born in Canton, N.C., April 16, 1898, a son of Sherman and Ella (Barnett) Laury. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Bertie Currance, Winston-Salem, N. C.; two brothers: Frank, Lecester, N. C.; Furman, Frederick, Md., and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister. THE PROGRESS, Clearfield, PA Tuesday, December 1, 1970 Pg. 2 MRS. LASSIE LOURY Mrs. Lassie Carr Lowry of 105 Park St. died at Clearfield yesterday. She was born at Ashville, N. C., Nov. 16, 1910, and was the wife of Lloyd Loury. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one sister, Mrs. Carrie Moore of Philadelphia. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Mrs. Loury was a member of the St. John Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Fred B. Leavy Funeral Home with the Rev. Felix Hurd officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
