Adam Jury's daughter Sallie was the first wife of my great-great-grandfather, Abraham Leonard Hoover. Adam Jury served in Company F of the 191st Regiment of the Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry. He died on January 5, 1865, at the Confederate States Military Prison at Salisbury, N.C. He is listed in the Salisbury Confederate Prison Association's online index of POW Deaths: http://www.salisburyprison.org/POWDeaths.htm According to the "Genealogy of the Zinn Family of York and Lancaster Counties, Pennsylvania" by E. Maurice Grass, "Sallie was of French Huguenot descent, and her ancestors came to America in the early 18th century." Good luck in your search. Guy M.
