Ancestry does automatically renew memberships like many mag., etc. Supposed to be for our convenience. We just need to know when our time is up & call to cancel at least two week before it runs out... make sure you tell them not to "cancel immediately" BUT to do it on your last day. I live in FL and can research 24 hrs a day "in PJs" if I'd like. I think the cost of Ancestry is high ..until I think that it would cost me more than that for gas to drive up there once~~ So I personally wouldn't boycott them. They have tons of info that I can read, print etc in the comfort of my home. For less than a dollar a day. People spend more than that on soda, coffee or cigs. in a day.
