The Moshannon Creek was a dead creek in my lifetime but I'm sure when it was alive and full of fish, the fish would travel up many of the side creeks or streams, making them fish runs. I have a suspicion that the various "runs" in Central PA were so named because they were fish runs. Jim Nolan
