My nephew is a decendent of Snyders but this obit did not belong to him: 'John W. Snyder of Hyde Dies - John W. Snyder of Hyde City died at the Clearfield Memorial Hospital this morning from complications of disease said to have started with asthma. He was 41 years of age. Funeral services will be held at Center Methodist Church at Hyde on Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. The body will be taken to Osceola for interment.' NOTE: Hyde was never a city but in approximately 1900, it was expected to be. In the 1950's there may have been a few hundred people in the town. CENTER should have been spelled CENTRE. There is a cemetery where the church use to be located and actually when you read old newspaper articles the whole area on the ridges is referred to as Centre.
