The Clearfield Historical Society is very good but it doesn't open until the first Sunday in May and then they are only open on Thursdays and Sundays from 1:30 to 4:30pm. Check out their website at http://www.clfdhistory.org/ They have moved to a new location (both website and address). I think there may be someone availabe by email but I won't swear to that. By the way, I have kept digging and the 1870 census indicates that Belinda's name is Malinda; so try both names in your research. I may have no reason to have this family but my census info is up to snuff. I get a little compulsive about stuff like this but at least it keeps me off the streets. Your info was interesting and I would love it if you kept me informed of your progress so that I can figure out why I have this family in my database in the first place.
