I may be mistaken BUT I think there is more than one cemetery in Brisbin. They all run together. We were there two years ago. There are graves on both side of Route 153. Some of my husband's relatives from Christ the King Church are buried there. Seems to me there were two different Christ the King Church cemeteries there; and, we were looking in the wrong one first. It was cold & rainy that day so we didn't stay long. (We drove around the church area first looking for the cemetery; and ask someone there where it was located.) Hope this helps. I'm not familiar with the Ross Cemetery in Centre County, but to answer your question about going to Centre County from Clearfield County when you are at the Brisbin and Houtzdale Cemeteries, yes, you could get to all three in one day I would think. The dividing line between Centre Co. and Clearfield Co. is at Philipsburg which is shown on that map I sent the link. You would take Rt 322 and Rt 220 to State College, then pick up the Route 26 south from State College that is shown in the 'Directions' below. It's about 10 miles from Brisbin to Philipsburg, and then about 25 miles from Philipsburg to State College. http://www.rootsweb.com/~pacentre/graves.htm Centre County, PA Graveyards ROSS Ferguson Township. I remember walking past this church at least once a week while I lived in Brisbin until I was 12, and my visits back there since, I don't have an exact memory of the cemetery but I've always thought it is where it is shown on this map. Too bad this map doesn't show this cemetery the same way the Brisbin map shows the IOOF one.
