Reitz Willison, New Bethlehem LaRue Taylor memorial set Saturday Suzanne Louis P-Jobb, 68, of Wilson Avenue, Clarion, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2009, in her home of natural causes. Born Nov. 1, 1941 in Ashtabula, Ohio, she was the daughter of William Crozier and Doris Warren Crozier. Suzanne obtained a degree in political science and Russian from Kent State University and a degree in history from Clarion University. She later received her master's degree in Russian from Case Western Reserve in Cleveland. She taught in the foreign language department at Clarion University for six years, then remained in the education department at Clarion for another 24 years. She is survived by a brother, William Crozier of Cleveland; and six children, Zsuzsika Jobb, Andrew Jobb, Deirdre Jobb, Andora Jobb, Fianna Jobb Adams and Tamana Jobb. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Goble Funeral Home & Crematory, 330 Wood St., Clarion. Charles "Willy" Swarm, 90, of Country Springs, Sligo, died Monday afternoon, May 25, 2009, at Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sligo. Born June 29, 1918, in Sugarcreek Township, Venango County, he was the son of the late Charles Milford and Susanna Jeanette Reisinger Swarm. Mr. Swarm was a U.S. Army veteran during World War II. He served in the Civilian Conservation Corps. He retired from Koppers in Oil City. He married Mary Lois Swarm on Sept. 17, 1947, and she preceded him in death on April 15, 2001. Mr. Swarm was a member of the Callensburg Church of God and the American Legion. His church was his life. He loved to travel, touring the countryside with his precious friend, Ruby Harkless. Willy loved children. Although he had no biological children of his own, he was a father figure to Betty Rankin Rider and Otto "Skip" Rider of Rimersburg. He was cherished by Charles and Diana Rider and Alesia and Donald Barger, who considered him their "little pap." He was also a notable grandpa to Tiffany and Don Barger, Benjamin Barger, Travis, Christina and Matthew Rider, and Chloe and Afton Bowser, the daughters of Regina and Larry Bowser. He is survived by a brother, Jack; and two sisters, Margie and Betty. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Gertrude. Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. today in the William N. Rupert Mortuary, Inc., Knox, and from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday in the Callensburg Church of God, 216 Scott St., Callensburg. Reitz Willison, 91, of New Bethlehem, died Sunday morning, May 24, 2009, at Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sligo. Born Oct. 8, 1917, in Ohl, Jefferson County, she was the daughter Ellis Malcolm and Annie Alice Reitz, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married May 14, 1937, to Joseph L. Willison , who preceded her in death on Feb. 16, 1990. Mrs. Willison worked as a clerk at various businesses throughout New Bethlehem, retiring from Campbell's Men's Wear. She was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church of New Bethlehem. She also was a member of the United Methodist women and Stitch and Chatter. She volunteered at the Redbank Valley Thrift Shop and served on the Board of Elections in South Bethlehem. Survivors include four daughters, Connie Baylor and her husband, Ralph, of Ft. Myers, Fla., Chelcie Croscutt of Hickory, N.C., Victoria Howell and her husband, John, of Deland, Fla. and Tina Shreckengost and her husband, Chet, of New Bethlehem; eight grandchildren, Edward Baylor, Eric Baylor, Jodie Nolf, Joseph Nolf, Michael Flanders, Michele Geberth, Heath Shreckengost and Eden Shreckengost; and eight great-grandchildren, Kayla, Braden, Cody, Kyle, Nicholas, Vincent, Dakota and Tyler. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Reitz; and three sisters, Mary Martz, Florence Slagle and Rubye Reitz.
