Martz, 133 Laurelbrooke Drive, Brookville Getting it right - Larry Hays Longwell James Harry Campbell, 93, died Friday, April 10, 2009, at McKenzie Health Care Center in McKenzie, Tenn. Born July 4, 1915, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late James J. and Nettie Bower Campbell. Mr. Campbell served in the U.S. Army during World War II. After the war ended, he worked for Studebaker dealers in New Jersey. Upon returning to Franklin, Mr. Campbell worked as the parts manager at the Franklin Auto Ford dealer. After retirement, he and his wife, the former Nina Pounds, lived in Florida for many years before relocating to Tennessee in 2007. Mr. Campbell is survived by his wife, Nina; a daughter, Dr. Phylllis McElhinney and her husband, Kerry, of McKenzie, Tenn.; a son, Richard Campbell of Largo, Fla.; a sister, Lois Huey of Franklin; four nieces, Kay Steere of Colorado, Ellen Cassel and Kristine Wolff, both of Florida, and Rose Huey of Franklin; and a nephew, Don Huey of Franklin. In addition to his parents, Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by a sister, Jean LeGrand. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Calvary Baptist Church in Franklin with Pastor Jo Ann Pottle officiating. Mr. Campbell was cremated in Tennessee. His ashes will be buried at Sunset Hills Memorial Garden in Cranberry. Ellen Z. Cauvel, 72, of Franklin, died at 4:12 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at UPMC Northwest Medical Center. Born Aug. 2, 1936, in Geneva, Pa., she was the daughter of Frank and Esther Brown Zimmer. On Feb. 27, 1960, she married Fred Cauvel, and he survives. She worked for 21 years as building supervisor of Polk Center, and retired in 1991. Mrs. Cauvel enjoyed playing cards, snowmobiling, traveling and her grand dogs. She held an annual garage sale. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Ann Fike and her husband, Raymond Sr., of Franklin; two grandchildren, Gretchen Ann Anderson and her fiancé, Rick Kohley, of Pittsburgh, and Raymond C. Fike Jr. and his fiancé, Kristen Kelley, of Franklin; two sisters, Julia Elizabeth Slater of Stoneboro and Esther Hatti Schell and her husband, Henry, of Sandy Lake; a brother, James Brown Zimmer and his wife, Jean, of Sandy Lake; two great-grandchildren, Trinity and Donovan Fike of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Shirley Stutter and her husband, John, of Cochranton; and two brothers-in-law, Thomas Barnes of Polk and Clair V. Cauvel and his special friend, Nancy Ritchey, of Franklin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Alan Cauvel, who died Jan. 18, 1969; two sisters, Agnes Barnes and Betty Lou Zimmer; and a brother, Duncan Wilkie Zimmer. Online condolences may be sent at www.gardinierfuneralhome.com Elizabeth Ursula Blauser Khein, 90, formerly of the Oil City- Franklin area, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 17, 2009, at University Hospital, Tamarac, Fla. Born Oct. 15, 1918, in Oil City, she was the oldest daughter of Orrin L. and Katherine Brown Blauser, both of whom preceded her in death. During the early years of her life she helped her mother care for her 11 brothers and sisters. She graduated in 1937 from Oil City High School She was married April 28, 1939, to Neal R. Khein, who preceded her in death April 29, 2000. Mrs. Khein worked at various jobs throughout her life choosing mainly to be a loving mother and homemaker. In her spare time she could be found sewing, knitting or crocheting things for her family. She particularly enjoyed working beside her beloved husband Neal in the garden on the spare lot beside their home in Reno. She was a member of the Nursery Chapter Order of Eastern Star and in 1972 served as mother adviser for Rainbow Girls Order 19. Mrs. Khein dedicated herself to help raise her granddaughters to become fine young women. Mr. and Mrs. Khein lived in the Oil City-Franklin area until 1999, when failing health forced them to move to Florida. She is survived by a daughter, Peggy Beyerl and her husband, Bradley, of Sunrise, Fla.; two sons, Neal R. Khein Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and Richard "Dick" Khein and his wife, Jane Craft Khein, of Sunrise, Fla.; two grandchildren, Marisa Cutaia and her husband, Tony, of Boca Raton, Fla. and Briana Beyerl of Sunrise, Fla.; and three great-grandchildren, Zoe, Nicky and Fiona Beyerl. Also surviving are two brothers, William Blauser and Orrin L. Blauser Jr,. both of Oil City; four sisters, Jean Davidson, Ruth "Peg" Hockman and Patricia Karns, all of the Franklin-Oil City area and Virginia Brosious of Baltimore, Md.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Katherine MacDonald and Mildred Miller; and three brothers Oliver, Wade and Robert Blauser. Logue, 91, formerly of Franklin and Punxsutawney, died Saturday, May 16, 2009, in Mesa, Ariz. Born March 14, 1918, in Punxsutawney, he was the son of Ivan L. Logue Sr. and Sara Fox Logue, both of whom preced him in death. He graduated from Punxsutawney High School. He was married Nov. 6, 1938, to Nita Depp Logue, who survives. He was the owner of Logue auto body in Franklin for 38 years. Mr. Lougue was an avid golfer. He was a member of John W. Jenks F & AM Lodge in Punxsutawney for 60 years, and of the B.P.O. Elks Lodge in Franklin for 68 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by an aunt, Wiloveen Logue of Parker; and a grandson, David Indorato of Pittsburgh. In addition to he parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Logue Indorata; two brothers, Fred Logue and Alvin Logue; and a sister, Sara Mae Fulmer. She was the last member of her immediate family Born June 27, 1920, in Ringgold Township, Jefferson County, she was the daughter of Orie Powell and Pearl Holben Powell, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married June 27, 1936, to Jay R. Martz, who preceded her in death Jan. 21, 1996. Mrs. Martz was a homemaker. She was affiliated with Ringgold United Methodist Church. Mrs. Martz is survived by two sons, Earl "Jim" Martz and his wife, Janet and Raymond L. Martz and his wife, Patricia, all of New Bethlehem; two daughters, Betty Miller and her husband, Daniel, of Grand Junction, Ariz. and Patricia Heyer and her husband, Robert, of Red Bank, N. J.; nine grandchildren; 16 great-children and four great-great- grandchildren. He is survived by his step-daughter, Tracey Carlisle and her husband, Mitch of Cleveland, Ohio.
