Schwab, The Caring Place, Franklin Anthony J. Sineni Jr., 944 River Drive, Franklin Alice Luella Welms, Oil City Presbyterian Home Memorial set for Donald E. Couch Herbert A. Best, 79, of 103 Goetsch Road, Sugar Grove Township, Greenville, passed away at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, at UPMC Horizon Greenville due to a heart attack. Born Dec. 2, 1928, in West Monterey, he was the son of the late Cleveland and Bertha Garris Best. Mr. Best retired as a forklift operator from R.D. Werner Co. with more than 30 years of employment. He was a member of Greenville Alliance Church. Mr. Best was a lifetime member of VFW Post 3374 and was a past volunteer with Hempfield Volunteer Fire Department. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking and the outdoors. He was always helping out friends and neighbors. Mr. Best served in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1952, serving during the Korean Conflict with the 424th Field Artillery Battalion. Mr. Best was married July 28, 1951, to Elizabeth Lorigan who preceded him in death Jan. 20, 2003. He is survived by two sons, Peter Best and his wife, Trina, of Adamsville, and Paul Best of Greenville; one brother, Max Best of Sandy Lake; and one sister, Julia Reisinger of Parker. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Best was preceded in death by one daughter, Lois Marie Best; six brothers, Peter Best, Walter Best, William Best, Jerry Best, Delbert Best and Joseph Best; and an infant sister. Mary Veronica Reardon Blanchard, 80, of 1414 Otter St., Franklin, died at 5:53 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, at UPMC Northwest in Seneca following an extended illness. She is survived by her sons Robert, Thomas, Bruce, Chris and John. Ms. Blanchard was raised in Oil City and was a graduate of St. Joseph High School. Mary Lou Mills, 66, of Liberty Street, Clarion, passed away at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, at Clarion Hospital after an illness. Born May 21, 1942, in Clarion, she was the daughter of the late David Thomas Rankin and Ardis Jeffery Rankin Mrs. Mills attended First United Methodist Church in Clarion She was employed at J.C. Penny in Clarion for a number of years. Mrs. Mills was married June 12, 1964, at First United Methodist Church in Clarion to Arthur A. "Art" Mills, who preceded her in death March 6, 2008. Mrs. Mills is survived by two sons, Thad C. Mills of Shippenville and Bruce A. Mills and his wife, Kathleen, of Fort Mill, S.C.; and two grandsons, Benjamin Mills and Charles Mills, both of Ft. Mill, S.C. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Mills was preceded in death by her father on June 23, 1978, her mother on Sept. 13, 1985, and a brother, John W. Terrie Lea Reott, 63, of St. Cloud, Fla., formerly of Ninevah, passed away at 7:42 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, in the St. Cloud hospital following a lengthy illness. Born Nov. 1, 1945, in Franklin, she was the daughter of Charles Snivley Jr. and Bertha Snow Snively. Ms. Reott resided in Ninevah until moving to Florida in 1991. She was a 1963 graduate of Keystone High School and a member of the American Legion in St. Cloud, Fla. Ms. Reott loved spending time with her grandchildren and taking care of her dog, Taco, and her cat, Meko. She also enjoyed talking on her cell phone with her friends from Pennsylvania. Ms. Reott is survived by her mother, Bertha; one daughter, Shelly Myers and her companion, Monty Chapman Jr., of St. Cloud, Fla.; one granddaughter, Ashley Musser and her fiance, Chuck DePari, of Kissimmee, Fla.; one grandson, Travis Myers of St. Cloud, Fla.; one sister, Penny and her husband, Gil Rigby, of St. Cloud, Fla.; one nephew, Jerry Jack; and a special friend, Dave Phillips of St. Cloud, Fla. Sineni Jr., 72, of 944 River Drive, Franklin, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, at his residence. Born Aug. 9, 1936, he was the son of the late Anthony J. Sineni Sr. and Mary Grisanti. Mr. Sineni was employed by Wyeth Laboratories as a drug representative before retiring after 30 years of service. He attended First Presbyterian Church in Franklin and was a member of the choir. Mr. Sineni was a graduate of Bennett High School and obtained his bachelor's degree in English from the University of Buffalo. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening, cooking and the opera. He was a "people person." Mr. Sineni is survived by three children, Anthony J. Born Aug. 26, 1906 in Oil City, she was the daughter of the late William and Ida Mae Kitelinger. Mrs. Welms graduated from Clarion Normal School. She first taught in a one-room school house, and then did most of her teaching in Corry where she taught first grade. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Oil City. On May 29, 1929 she married Theodore W. "Ted" Welms, who preceded her in death on Feb.16, 1983. Mrs. Welms is survived by several nieces and nephews, among whom are, Betty L. Fox of Oil City; Norman "Bud" Kitelinger Jr. and his wife, Ida Mae, of Walnut Bend; Norma Jeanne Mahanna and her husband, Ken, of Magnolia, Texas; Bill Kitelinger and his wife, Shirley, of Windham, Ohio; Jim Kitelinger and his wife, Ruth, of Poland, Ohio; Gayle Bolles and her husband, Ellsworth, of Ormond Beach, Fla.; Peggy Spriggs and her husband, Harry, of Brookville, Wis.; Charlotte Dale and her husband, Bob, of Youngsville; and Laureen Welms of Oil City. Also surviving are numerous great nieces and great nephews and great-great nieces and great-great nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Norman Kitelinger, George Kitelinger, William Kitelinger and John Kitelinger; and four sisters, Martha Crum, Esther Kinselman, Mary Frischman Downing and Nellie Mae Downing.
