Resinger, 239 Grant St., Franklin Geraldine Matlock memorial slated Rebecca E. "Becky" Heeter, 91, of 3369 Callensburg Road, Parker, died Sunday, May 31, 2009, at UPMC Northwest in Seneca Born Aug. 21, 1917, in Eldorado, Kan., she was the daughter of Ben Hess and the former Mary Gladys McElhatten, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married in 1935 to D.M. Heeter, who preceded her in death in August 1970. Mrs. Heeter was a homemaker. She had worked at Davis Cookie Co. in Rimersburg and at the Clarion Area Agency on Aging. Mrs Heeter was a member of Callensburg United Methdodist Church and was a 50-year member of the Clarion Order of Eastern Star. She also participated with the Area Agency on Aging activities. She is survived by a son, Timothy Heeter and his wife, Cheri, of Pittsburgh; a daughter-in-law, Phyllis Heeter of Lamartine; and the following grandchildren, Brian and Michelle Heeter of Emlenton, Brad and Jenny Heeter of Emlenton, Don and Wendy Heeter of New Bethlehem, Shari and Brett Schaeffer of Huntsburg, Ohio, Kristen and Shane Buzard of Callensburg, Timothy J. Heeter and Christopher Heeter of Pittsburgh, Benjamin Zerbe of St. Petersburg and Ashley Heeter and Austin Heeter of Emlenton. Also surviving are great-grandchildren Kolten Heeter, Calen, Jacob and Ethan Heeter, Sam and Kennedy Heeter, Hunter and Kyle Schaeffer, Kevin VanZandt and Kathy and Kobe Buzard. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Heeter was preceded in death by two sons, D. Samuel Heeter and Benjamin Heeter; an infant brother; and an infant grandson, Matthew Heeter. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Varner Funeral Home in Sligo. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard L. "Sonny" Lincoln Sr., 67, of 1114 E. Second St., Oil City, died at 9 a.m. Sunday, May 31, 2009, at his residence. Born March 30, 1942, in Titusville, he was the son John and Clara Hedgelin Lincoln. They preceded him in death. He attended Titusville area schools and was formerly employed as a school bus driver. Mr. Lincoln also was an avid bingo player and enjoyed watching sports. Mr. Lincoln is survived by the following children: Robert Kirchner, Lawrence Kirchner, Miranda Tucker, Clarence Ester, James Ester, Florence Rosenburgh, Richard L. Lincoln, Jr., Michael Lincoln, Jennifer Lincoln, Jill Stroup, Joan Stroup, Michelle Miller and Richard E. Derby;. Also surviving are 25 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one brother, Jack Lincoln; and a half-brother, Gordon Lincoln. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret B. Lincoln. Resinger, 75, of 239 Grant St., Franklin, died at 9:10 a.m. Monday, June 1, 2009, at The Caring Place. Born Nov. 6, 1933, in Franklin, she was the daughter of the late Harold J. Sipe and Mary E. Surrena. She was married to Lawrence Resinger, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Resinger was employed by Polk Center as custodial supervisor and retired in 1994 after 22 years of service. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Mrs. Resinger loved bingo and camping. She had her own gospel radio show in Franklin and she was a Sunday school teacher. Mrs. Resinger is survived by four children, Elmer E. Miller of Tacoma, Wash., Daryl Nelson of Pittsburgh, Linda D. Moyer and her fiancé, Terry Baker, of Franklin and Laurie Nelson of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren, Kenneth L. Moyer Jr. and his wife, Teresa, of Franklin, Lisa A. McKeown and her husband, Marc, of Titusville and Richard L. Moyer of Franklin; six grandchildren; and a sister, Carolyn Sipe of Franklin. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Resinger was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Sipe, and a brother, James Sipe. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Gardinier Funeral Home in Franklin. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Geraldine Matlock memorial slated A memorial service for Geraldine M. Matlock, 84, of the Golden Living Center in Titusville, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cherrytree United Methodist Church. Mrs. Matlock, 84, formerly of 503 W. Main St., Titusville, died at 4:20 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, at the Golden Living Center.
