Adams St., Cochranton, formerly of Carlton Eileen Hollibaugh Ketcham Sicks, Wexford, formerly of Stoneboro Robert Lee Stover, Sawtown Road, Oil City Roger A. Walter, Fisher M. Louise Frawley, 84, formerly of Towne Towers and 609 Bissell Ave., Oil City, passed away peacefully at 1:15 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009, at the Golden Living Center in Oil City. She had resided there since June 14, 2006. Born Jan. 31, 1924, in Summerville, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Freda Kinch Zachrel. She was a 1942 graduate of St. Joseph High School. She was married Feb. 7, 1948, in St. Venantius Church in Rouseville, to Edward J. Frawley, who preceded her in death Sept. 17, 2003. A homemaker, she enjoyed baking for her family, needlework and working with the Thursday Quilting Ladies at St. Joseph Church in Oil City. She was a member of St. Joseph Church and the church Rosary Society. Mrs. Frawley is survived by six sons, Jerome F. Frawley of Midlothian, Va., Martin E. Frawley of Cranberry, David E. Frawley of Franklin, Joseph M. Frawley of Oil City, Kevin C. Frawley of Keene, N.H., and Stephen M. Frawley of Charleston, W.Va.; two daughters, Janice Durney of Oil City and Susanne Lutz of Oil City; 19 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Phyllis Hepfner of North East and Vivian Schneider of Madison, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Frawley was preceded in death by one daughter, Rita Ann; one son, James B.; and three brothers, Norman Zachrel, Regis Zachrel and Arnold Zachrel. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Reinsel Funeral Home and Crematory in Oil City and again from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday in the gathering space at St. Joseph Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Church with Monsignor John W. Swoger, St. Joseph pastor, presiding. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Robert Edward Lee, 89, of the Golden Living Center, Oil City, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009. Born July 31, 1919, in Oil City, he was the son of the late Fredrick Lee and Edith McCutcheon Lee. Mr. Lee was a WWII Navy Veteran serving in North Africa and France. He was honorably discharged Nov. 12, 1945. He was a member of the Elks and life time member of the VFW post #464 in Oil City. He was a wilderness ranger in the Bob Marshal Wilderness for many years. Mr. Lee also was the harbor master for the LaPush Quileute Indian reservation in LaPush, Wash. On a recent visit there with his daughter and son-in-law, James and Kathy Rogers, he was the guest of honor at a dinner and wolf dance celebration of his life where he was presented a wolf blanket and a walking cane made of Elk horns. Mr. Lee has three great-grandchildren serving in the armed forces; Marine CPL Byran Mikael Weber serving in Iraq, Army PV2 Brett Newton at Fort Riley, Kan. and AMN 1st Class Emilee Kenyon in Arizona. Mr. Lee is survived by his former wife, Sue Lee of Franklin; two sons, James Lee and his wife, Rita, of Rynd Farm, and Michael Lee, a retired Marine, and his wife, Peggy, of Arapaho, N.C.; six daughters, Barbara Ann Hidinger of Franklin, Linda Duke and her husband, Thomas, of Bend, Ore., Kathy Rogers and her husband, James, of Seneca, Susan Adams and her husband, Larry, of Utica, Jane Piccirilli and her husband, Mario, of Linesville, Jeanie Daubenspeck and her husband, Carl, of Franklin. He is also survived by 39 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Lee was preceded in death by a daughter, Terrance Marie Turk, a gr andson, Mark William Turk, two sisters, Brownie Phillips and Miriam Stanton, and his brother, Jack Lee. Buhl Farm Drive, Hermitage, formerly of Ashtabula, Ohio, and New Brighton, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009, at Sharon Regional Health System in Sharon. Born May 10, 1916, in Midland, he was the son of the late Peter Revelant Sr. and Louisa Justi Revelant. He was a 1934 graduate of New Brighton High School and a 1952 graduate of the University of New Mexico, and he achieved his master's in education from Ball State University in the state of Indiana. He was a member of First Congregational Church of Ashtabula. He was married March 8, 1942, to the former Zylva E. Boyer Revelant, who preceded him in death Dec. 27, 2003. Mr. Revelant served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was an English and history teacher for Ashtabula School District in Ashtabula, Ohio, for many years. He had also worked as an assistant principal and director of adult education classes for Ashtabula County. Mr. Revelant was a member of American Legion Post 19 of New Brighton, and he was the post's oldest member. He was an avid reader who enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his great-grandchildren. Mr. Revelant was past chairman of the Whispering Oaks Residents board of directors. Mr. Revelant is survived by a brother, Peter Revelant Jr. of Rochester, Pa.; a sister, Ida Revelant of New Brighton; a stepdaughter, Mary Lou Cummings of Panama City, Fla.; a granddaughter, Cynthia Armburger and her husband, Larry, of Franklin; and a grandson, James Borger and his wife, Victoria, of Huron, Ohio. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, M. Scott Armburger, Amanda Walters, Rhonda Adsit, Rick Adsit, Jennifer Taylor, James N. Borger and Jamie Borger; five great-great-grandchildren, Twinkle Murphy-Armburger, Scott Walters Jr., Kaleb Keyes, Cameron Adsit and Chastin Adsit; three nieces, Roxanne Lambert, Lisa Fyock and Maria Mayle; and one nephew, Peter A. Revelant and his special friend and caregiver, Martha Flickinger of Hermitage. In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Revelant was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Revelant; a brother, Dante Revelant; and a grandson, Robert Borger. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Alice "Jean" Rodgers, 86, of 183 W. Adams St., Cochranton, formerly of Carlton, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009, at her residence. Born Oct. 5, 1922, in Carlton, she was the daughter of Harold L. and Jennie L. Corner Blair. Mrs. Rodgers was married June 27, 1964, to John A. Rodgers, who preceded her in death Aug. 3, 2005. She was a homemaker, a member of Milledgeville Presbyterian Church and a member of the Wynmore Club in Carlton. Mrs. Rodgers was an avid bingo player, and she enjoyed needlework, gardening and collecting stuffed animals. She is survived by three stepchildren, William Rodgers of Oklahoma and Ruthanne Swank and Patty Albaugh, both of Seneca; a brother, Charles Blair and his wife, Myrna, of Carlton; a sister-in-law, Otta Blair of Oregon; four nieces, Cathy Davis and her husband, Bill, of Linesville, Lynn Shilling and her husband, Will, of Saegertown, Charlee Steider of Conneaut Lake and Sylvia Remily of Oregon; two nephews, David Derby and his wife, Colleen, of Meadville and Dennis Blair of Oregon; several great-nieces and great-nephews and her circle of friends whom she resided with, Sis, Sarah, Mary Beth, Cathy and Gladys. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Rodgers was preceded in death by three nephews, Jeffrey Frampton, Charles Derby and Robert Blair Jr.; one brother, Robert Blair Sr.; and one sister, Dorothy Frampton. Eileen Hollibaugh Ketcham Sicks, 87, of Wexford House Nursing Center in Wexford, formerly of Clearfield and Stoneboro, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009. Born Aug. 13, 1921, in Millbrook, Worth Township, Mercer County, the former Myrtle Eileen Hollibaugh was the daughter of the late Ulysses Grant and Myrtle Alma Cole Hollibaugh. In 1937, at the age of 15, she graduated from the former Sandy Lake High School. She was married March 23, 1995, to Michael Sicks, who preceded her in death in 1998. Mrs. Sicks worked at the former Polk State School and Hospital for many years as a licensed practical nurse. In 1970, she earned a bachelor of science degree in education from Edinboro State College and went on to earn a master's in education there in 1972. Mrs. Sicks retired from teaching for the Clearfield Area School District in 1983 after 13 years at Plymptonville Elementary School. She was an active member of the Assembly of God Church in Clearfield for many years. She was also an avid reader and gardener. Mrs. Sicks is survived by two daughters, Ruth Keith and her husband, Ronald, of Columbia, Md. and Lorna Hardin of Woodville, Wash.; two sons, Richard E. Powell and his wife, Barbara, of Franklin and Steven D. Ketcham and his wife, Jeanne, of Altoona. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and last husband, Mrs. Sick was preceded in death by her two former husbands, Samuel H. Powell and Willard H. Ketcham, a daughter, Bernice Lorraine Powell, a grandson, Dustin Eugene Gallagher, three brothers, Percy Hollibaugh, Forrest Hollibaugh and Richard Hollibaugh, and three sisters, Ila Anderson, Gertrude Graham and Rosemary McClellan. Robert Lee Stover, 81, of Sawtown Rd., Oil City, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009. Mr. Stover was married to the former Mary Fischer, who survives. He was a machinist for Conair until he retired in 1992. Mr Stover was also a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Seneca. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Brenda Lipko of Oil City and a granddaughter, Dyan Diven. There will be no calling hours for Mr Stover; however; friends are invited to attend a memorial and committal service to be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Faller Funeral Home, Inc. in Fryburg. Walter, 62, of Fisher, passed away Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009, in Franklin. Born June 26, 1946, in Brookville, he was the son of Pearl L. and Nettie Faye Rankin Walter. Mr. Walter served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was married on Oct. 9, 1971, to Martha McElhinny, who survives. He was a devoted husband of 37 years, father and grandfather who had a contagious personality, a heart of gold and loved by all. Mr. Walter was a dedicated truck driver for the Sealy Mattress Company for 28 years. He was an original founding father of the Fisher Sportsman Club, a member of the Brookville Eagles Club and a devoted Christian of Kahletown Community Church. Mr. Walter enjoyed being outdoors, working in his sawmill and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his wife, he is survived four children, Robert Walter and his wife, Tracy, of Franklin, Blaise Walter of Fisher, Anson Blue of Indiana, and Mark Walter of Fisher. He is also survived by three sisters, Glennie Campbell, and her husband, Wayne, of Brookville, Kay Fryer, and her husband, Ed, of Corsica, Blue Hannold and her husband, Robert, of Sigel; and three brothers, Ronald Walter and his wife, Shirley, of Brookville, P.L. Walter and his wife, Martha, of Corsica, and Thomas Walter and his wife, Carol, of Sigel. Also surviving are grandchildren, Abby and Joey Walter of Franklin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard Walter, Floyd Walter, and Lester Walter, and two sisters, Dorothy Walter Weyant and Linda Wamsley.
