Buzard, 174 Baker St., Rimersburg Infant Cole Stewart Gifford, Switzer Road, Rimersburg Dolores Jean Hartle Ochs, Paint Mills Road, Shippenville Getting it right - Myrna Evie Lehman Grace E. Buzard, 84, of 174 Baker St., Rimersburg, died at 12:24 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2009, in Clarion Hospital. Born March 21, 1924, in Sligo, she was a daughter of Hezikiah K. Courson and Jessie Myers. She was married March 10, 1943, to John D. Buzard, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Buzard was employed in her early years at Owens-Illinois Glass Plant in Clarion and Bixlar Bakery in Rimersburg. She was also the top displayer for three straight years selling home interior products. She was a member of Baker Street Church of God in Rimersburg. Mrs. Buzard's greatest enjoyment came from her family. Before she became ill, she enjoyed gardening and keeping her home as beautiful as she was, her family said. Mrs. Buzard always had a song in her heart and she and her daughter, Bambi, had their own little gospel services, playing the guitar, accordion, piano and organ. Mrs. Buzard is survived by two daughters, Beverly "Birdie" Shick and her husband, Turney, of Rimersburg, and Bambi Buzard of Rimersburg; a son, Gale Buzard of Rimersburg; and two sisters, Ruthie Hall of Erie and Dearle Sideris of Bedford, Ohio. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Mike and Sue Buzard, Jason and Missy Buzard, Jessica and Tucker Copenhaver, Troy Shick and his friend, Connie Tyson, Shanin Shick and her friend Frank McNaughton, and Toby Shick and his friend, Autumn Roudybush; 10 great-grandchildren, Shane, Sterling, Brennah, Rhiannon, Sammi, Bo, Tiff, Kayla, Lexie and Hannah; and she and Bambi's puppy, Steffi. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Buzard was preceded in death by four brothers, Harry Courson, Bob Courson, Paul Courson and Jackie Courson; and five sisters, Effie Beers, Estella Summerville, Millie Eshbaugh, Tootie Schreckengost and Betty Johnston. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at the Varner Funeral Home of Rimersburg. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today at the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Kennedy, pastor of Baker Street Church of God in Rimersburg, officiating. Burial will be in Rimersburg Cemetery. Cole Stewart Gifford, a seven-week old infant son of Philip and Crystal Stewart Gifford, of Switzer Road, Rimersburg, passed away unexpectedly Thursday March 12, 2009, at his home, of natural causes. Online condolences may be sent at www.hillisfuneralhome.com Dolores Jean Hartle Ochs, 79, of Paint Mills Road, Shippenville, passed with the blessings of the Lord at 6:05 a.m. Thursday, March 12, 2009. Born Aug. 20, 1929, in Bradford, she was the daughter of Clara and Theodore "Sam" Hartle. Mrs. Ochs graduated from Clarion Area High School. She was married Oct. 30, 1947, to Norbert S. Ochs at St. Michael Church in Fryburg with Monsignor Francis Theobald officiating. The couple enjoyed 61 years together, and Norbert survives. Mrs. Ochs worked at Woolworth's Five and Dime and Purity Pottery in the 1940s. She also worked for 10 years at Owens-Illinois Glass. She enjoyed music and family vacations at Lake Erie. She was very proud of all her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Ochs is survived by her children, Lynn Ochs and wife, Denise, of Pittsburgh, Randy Ochs of Butler, Debbie Ochs Edwards and her husband, Edward, of Pleasantville; and Sandy Ochs and his wife,Tammy, of Shippenville. She is also survived by several grandchildren, Travis Ochs of Butler, Brittany Stewart and her husband, Chad, of Brookville, Megan Blakeslee and her husband, Nathan, of Spartansburg, Carrie Edwards of Alexandria, Va., Kristen Ochs of Pittsburgh and Jordan Ochs of Lock Haven; and brothers and sisters Geri Glosser of Shippenville, Ted Hartle of Delaware and Wanda Kesner of Grove City. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Gary Hartle and Francis Hartle. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Faller Funeral Home Inc. in Fryburg. A parish vigil service will be held at 8:45 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Michael Church in Fryburg with the Rev. David Poulson, St. Michael pastor, presiding. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery following the Mass. The family suggests memorials be made to the building fund of St. Michael Church in Fryburg or the Clarion-Forest VNA. Hill of Tionesta and Judy R. Greyber and her husband, Kim, of Jamestown, N.Y.; and one son, Sid Lehman and his wife, Louise, of Tionesta.
