Civitelli, 2500 Federal Ave., Williamsport Amos Paul Hartle, Waterson Road, Strattanville Robert A. Hauth, Tionesta Kimberly A. Lambert, 5 Oak Lane, Marienville Earl E. Latchaw, 157 Park Ave., Franklin Getting it right - Floyd E. Whitman Sr. James R. Baughman, 65, of 228 Onondaga Ave., Warren, died unexpectedly Saturday, March 21, 2009, at Hamot Medical Center, Erie. Born Aug. 5, 1943, in Brookville, he was the son of the late Clarence R. and Mary Moor Baughman. He was married Aug. 11, 1963, to the former Dawn M. Watson, who survives. Mr. Baughman served in the U.S. Marine Corp in 1961. He was a production supervisor for 23 years at Phillips Lighting and later was a corrections officer at SCI Albion, retiring in July 2007. He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, and enjoyed NASCAR racing. In addition to his wife, Mr. Baughman is survived by a son, Randy Baughman and his wife, Julie, of Warren; two daughters, Christine Abplanalp and her fiancé, Scott Stover, of Warren and Jamie L. Lee and her husband, Daniel, of North Carolina; a brother, Richard Baughman and his wife, Kathleen, of Sandy Lake; a sister, Cindy Sarver of Brookville; his mother-in-law, Faye F. Watson of DuBois; seven grandchildren, Lindsay Baughman, Courtney Baughman, Jordan Baughman, Kaila Abplanalp, Cole Abplanalp, Hunter Lee and Walker Lee; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Owens. Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Grace United Methodist Church, 501 Penn Ave., E., Warren, 16365. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Kevin Haley officiating. Burial will be in the Brookville Cemetery. The Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, is in charge of arrangements. Charles D. "Chuck" Bell, 70, passed away Friday, March 20, 2009. Born Dec. 13, 1938, in Nineveh, he was the son of Duane and Alma Bell. Chuck retired from Worthington Industries after 35 years of loyal service. He also was involved in several charitable works there. He was involved in coaching his children's sports teams as they were growing up. Chuck was a member of Boy Scouts, Campfire Girls, Junior Achievement and Friends of the Creche. He was steadfast to his involvements and generous with his time to others. Chuck was active in Upper Arlington Lutheran Church serving as an usher and on the property committee. He was also a 32nd degree Mason. Mr. Bell is survived by his beloved wife, Diane Donahue Bell; three children, Tom (Terry) Bell, Theresa (Sue) Garrett-Bell and Tina (Daman) Vance; five grandchildren, Ian, Andrea, Aidyn, Rhiannon and Rowan; and a brother, R. Hays (Karen) Bell. Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Conor Garrett-Bell. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:30 p.m. today at Upper Arlington Lutheran Church, 2300 Lytham Road, Columbus, Ohio, 43220. Civitelli, 76, of 2500 Federal Ave., Williamsport, died Thursday, March 19, 2009 at the Williamsport Hospital. Born March 27, 1932 in Huntsville, W.Va., she was a daughter of Arthur A. and Audeen Lindsey Crisman. She was a member of East End Baptist Church and the Sons of Italy Lodge 2786. She enjoyed going to yard sales and was a loving mother, grandmother and great great grandmother. Ms. Civitelli is survived by three children, Donna J. Manciocchi and her husband, Bill, of Williamsport, Robert E. Tucker Jr. and his wife, Bonnie, of Canton, N.C. and Arthur Michael Tucker of Tewksburry, Mass.; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Anderson and Marilyn Greene; and a brother, Arthur Crisman Jr. Ms. Civitelli was preceded in death by a son, Clyde Earl Tucker on April 13, 2007; and four siblings. Funeral services and visitation were held Saturday, March 21. Amos Paul Hartle, 61, of Waterson Road, Strattanville, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2009, at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Born May 23, 1947, in Clarion, he was the son of the late Clair "Beeze" Hartle and Bessie Marie Myers Hartle of Shippenville. He was married June 21, 1969, to the former Virginia K. McGrane, who survives. Mr. Hartle graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in 1965. He enlisted in the Navy Corp and served with the Marines during the Vietnam War. He worked for Scorce Inc. for 37 years and retired as a claims coordinator. Mr. Hartle was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Clarion. He was a member of the Legion 066, Moose 101, and the VFW 2145, all of Clarion. He enjoyed tinkering with clocks, spending time outdoors, golfing with his friends and family, and spending time with grandchildren. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two daughters, Christina Simpson and her husband, Gus, of Corsica and Lisa Hartle and her fiancé, Matt Craig, of Curllsville; a son, Brian Paul Hartle and his wife, Brandy, of Corsica; and five grandchildren, Donovan Ganss, Sydney Simpson, Samantha Simpson, Lauren Hartle and Calyssa Hartle. Also surviving are five brothers, the Rev. Tom Hartle of Shippenville, Gary Hartle and his wife, Marcia, of Clarion, Bruce Hartle and his wife, Cheryl, of Aliquippa, Emerson "Emmy" Hartle of Shippenville and Dave "Sub" Hartle of Knox and his fiance Stacy Rizinger; and one sister, Martha Siegel and her husband, Raymond, of Marble. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Clarion with the Rev. Following the service, military honors will be held at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery accorded by the American legion Post 66 of Clarion. Born May 28, 1917, in Trafford, he was a son of the late Adam and Helen Carach Hauth. He was married Feb. 6, 1951, to Rachel Carringer Hauth, ,who survives. He was a member of St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church in Tionesta. Mr. Hauth served for 29 years as a Pennsylvania state policeman, working in several troops and barracks in western Pennsylvania. He retired as a captain and the commander of Troop A, Greensburg. During World War II, he served his country in the Pacific Theater as a radioman first class in the U.S. Navy. He spent a lot of his retirement playing golf and reading. In addition to his devoted wife, Mr. Hauth is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hauth was preceded in death by three brothers, John Hauth, William Hauth and Howard Hauth and two sisters, Kathryn Stoddart and Helen Hauth. There will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Tionesta with the Rev. James A. Reardon as celebrant. Lambert, 41, of 5 Oak Lane in Marienville, died Saturday, March 21, 2009, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh after a long illness. Born Jan.15, 1968, in Warren, she was the daughter of John H. and Regina F. Conrad Moore. Ms. Lambert had worked at Zook Motors in Kane, Knox Auto Parts in Knox, and later at Jenny's Pizza in Marienville. Surviving are her parents of Kane; a daughter Shawna Lambert and a son Raymond Lambert, both of Marienville; three sisters, Valerie Trubic of Avoca, N.Y., Tracy Gilmore of Kane and Renee Moore of Kellettville; a brother, Shawn Moore of James City; her companion with whom she lived, John Hafer; and her former husband, Joey Lambert of Marienville. Latchaw, 70, of 157 Park Ave., Franklin, died at 11:35 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2009, at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh. Born Oct. 20, 1938, in Oil City, he was a son of Homer Eugene Latchaw and Lois K. Kelley. He was married July 26, 1958, to the former Barbara Jean "Bobbie Jo" Snyder, who survives. Mr. Latchaw was owner and operator of Latchaw Plumbing & Heating. He very much enjoyed the time he served in the U.S. Army during peacetime. Mr. Latchaw was a member of Fox Street Church of God, president of Rocky Grove PTA, and president of Venango County Training Center. He was a member of Franklin Rotary, Venango County 4-H, Rocky Grove Fire Department, and Rocky Grove Fire Police. Mr. Latchaw was an avid Steelers fan. He enjoyed CB radios, fishing, horses and going to "hot dog" shops with his brother, Jim. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Latchaw loved his dog, "Baby," and his granddog, "Max." In addition to his wife, Mr. Latchaw is survived by three children, Doug Latchaw and his wife, Tammi, of Seneca, Debbie Cummings and her husband, Tone, of Meadville and Kelley Bell and her husband, Doug, of Franklin; 12 grandchildren, Ryan Latchaw and his wife, Mandy, of San Diego, Calif., Trevor Latchaw of Meadville, Tyler Jordan of Meadville, Matt Flinspach of Pittsburgh, Tony Flinspach of Franklin, Ashley Latchaw of Franklin, Levi Bell of New Bethlehem, Chelsea Rudolph and her husband, Johnny, of Virginia Beach, Va., Dusty Bell of Franklin, Kevin Wice of Oil City, Lynn Cubitt of Oil City and Autumn Doyle of Oil City. He is survived by eight great-grandchildren, Kaden Latchaw and Jaylen Latchaw, both of San Diego, Calif., Broc Rudolph of Virginia Beach, Va., Cambria Flinspach and Jackson Flinspach of Franklin, Alexsis Bish of Grove City, Jayda Robinson of Oil City and Camerin Shotts of Oil City. He is also survived by a sister, Jayne French and her husband, Richard, of Oil City; a sister-in-law, Sue Buchan of Franklin; a brother, James W. Latchaw and his wife, Patty, of Franklin; two brothers-in-law, David Snyder and his wife, Donna, of Franklin and William Snyder of Franklin; and a special niece and nephew, Stephen Buchan and his wife, Lisa, of Carlton and Christine Buchan-Yarilla and her husband, Mark, of Boca Raton, Fla. Mr. Latchaw was preceded in death by his parents, a niece, Monique Latchaw; and a nephew, Jaden French.
