Conner, 85, of Lawsonham Road, Rimersburg, died at 7 a.m. Sunday, April 5, 2009, at Clarview Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, Sligo. The Richard D. Judith Marlene James, 64, of 283 Henry Road, Rimersburg, died Friday, April 3, 2009, at her residence. Born April 27, 1944, in Brookville, she was a daughter of Marvin C. and Grace (Evans) Miller. Mrs. James was a housewife. She was a member of the Carwick Wesleyan Methodist Church, where she played piano and helped with the "Relief Time" Bible school program. She was married Oct. 12, 1968, to James R. James, who survives. Survivors also include two sons and their wives, Jesse R. and Suzann James of Leeper and Jamie M. and Renee James of Monaca; her father, Marvin C. Miller of Mayport; and four grandchildren, Julie James, Joshua James, Christy James and Elizabeth James. Also surviving are her mother-in-law, Pauline James of Rimersburg; and a sister-in-law, Cathie Miller. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Harold M. Miller Sr.; and her father-in-law, Arthur I. James. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Gary Guntrum of the Carwick Wesleyan Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Mahoning Township, Armstrong County. Robert Andrew McMillen, 86, of 714 Innis St., Oil City, died at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2009, at his residence. Born May 1, 1922, in Sheffield, he was a son of Lore C. and Cora Neely McMillen. After the death of his mother in May of 1922, Bob went to live with his paternal grandparents, Robert and Blanche McMillen of Yellow Hammer. Mr. McMillen retired from Continental Can Co after 38 years of service. He was married on Feb. 5, 1944, to the former Betty Jane Fry, who survives. They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this year. Also surviving are one son, Bill McMillen and wife, Joy, of Seneca; one daughter-in-law, Beverly Kemp and husband, James, of Brookville; and five grandchildren, Erik and Stacy McMillen of Ravenna, Ohio, Sgt. Cory J, McMillen, stationed with the U.S. Army, Susan and David Sayers, and Mike and Amy Himes, all of Brookville, and Jackie Bouch of Corsica. Survivors also include five great-grandchildren, David James and Alexandria Sayers, Wyatt and Bailey Bouch and Kendra Himes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Robert Lee McMillen; one brother, Marian McMillen; and two sisters, Lilas Anderson and Elsie Kaminsky. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Morrison Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Wilson and the Rev. Sue Evans officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Peck, 84, of 110 Moran St., Oil City, a retired state parole agent, died at 4:35 p.m. Friday April 3, 2009, at UPMC-Northwest, Seneca.
