    3. The Derrick, February 11, 2009: Cletus H. Banner, Fryburg Barbara McFarland McFadden, Grove City Dolores McCracken, formerly of Franklin Timothy D. McKissick, Blue Jay Lane, Miola Cletus H Banner, 82, of Fryburg, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009, at UPMC Northwest following a short illness. The Faller Funeral Home Inc. of Fryburg is handling arrangements. A complete obituary will be published Thursday in The Derrick. Dolores McCracken, 79, formerly of Franklin, died at 10:10 p.m. Monday, Feb, 9, 2009, at the Eckstein Center, Hospice of the Valley, Scottsdale, Ariz. The Huff Chapel in Franklin is handling arrangements. A complete obituary will be published Thursday. Barbara McFarland McFadden, 72, of East Gilmore Road, Grove City, Wolf Creek Township, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Feb. 9, 2009. Born Nov. 2, 1936, on Oregon Road, Grove City, Springfield Township, Mercer County, she was the daughter of Floyd C. and Marie Stone McFarland. She was married July 20, 1956, to Gale McFadden, who survives. Mrs. McFadden loved gardening, teaching children's Sunday school, singing in the choir and singing with the Sweet Spirit Women's Ensemble in her church. She worked at Lazarus department store for 10 years while living in Erie. She was a homemaker and a wonderful, godly woman who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She had a generous heart and a loving spirit. In addition to her husband, Mrs. McFadden is survived by three sons, Mark McFadden and his wife, Chris, of Jamestown, Ohio, Thomas McFadden and his wife, Sharon, of Waynesville, Ohio, and David McFadden of Grove City; a daughter, Pamela McMurray and her husband, David, of Grove City; seven grandchildren and one grandchild who is also on the way. She is also survived by a dear sister, Faith Shaw of Grove City; and three brothers, Ronald McFarland and his wife, Mary, of Grove City, Richard McFarland and his wife, Barbara, of Houston, Texas, and David McFarland and his wife, Liz, of San Antonio, Texas. Mrs. McFadden was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Chuck McFarland, Raymond McFarland and Floyd McFarland Jr.; and a brother-in-law, Donald Shaw. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Cunningham Funeral Home Inc., 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, 103 Cranberry Road, Grove City, with the Rev. David Johnson, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Crestview Memorial Park Inc., Grove City. Memorial tributes may be made to VNA Hospice of Western Pennsylvania, 154 Hindman Road, Butler, 16001; or First Baptist Church, 103 Cranberry Road, Grove City, 16127. Timothy D. McKissick, 47, of Blue Jay Lane, Miola, Clarion, died at his home Monday, Feb. 9, 2009. Born June 3, 1961, in Clarion, he was the son of Janet Bish McKissick of Strattanville and the late Ray T. McKissick Jr. He was married Oct. 29, 1983, to the former Traci Hoffman, who survives. Mr. McKissick was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Clarion and the National Rifle Association. He had been employed at Sealy Mattress in Strattanville. In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. McKissick is survived by a son, Zachery McKissick, who is serving in the U.S. Army; a daughter, Megan McKissick and her fiance, Wesley Whitlatch, of Fisher; five brothers, Michael McKissick and his wife, Roxann, Kevin McKissick, David McKissick and his wife, Deb, Mark McKissick and Carey McKissick and his wife, Sonia, all of Strattanville; and a grandson, Hunter Whitlatch of Fisher. Mr. McKissick was preceded in death by his father and by his grandparents, Ray and Lillian McKissick and Quenton and Mildred Bish. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood St., Clarion. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church in Clarion with the Rev. Harold O. Jacobson officiating. Interment will follow in Scotch Hill Cemetery.
