McKissick, 47, of Miola, died Monday, Feb. 9, 2008. The Goble Funeral Home and Crematory of Clarion is in charge of arrangements. A complete obituary will be published Wednesday in The Derrick. Frederick J. Rodemoyer, 77, of Mineral Township, Venango County, Polk, died at 8:43 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009, at UPMC Northwest in Seneca from an illness he had since November 2008. Born June 25, 1931, in Pine Township, Mercer County, he was the son of Norbert West Rodemoyer and Mary Elizabeth Stillwagon. He was married April 7, 1971, to the former Jean R. McFarland, who survives. Mr. Rodemoyer retired in 1993 from Satec Systems Inc. in Grove City, where he was a machinist for 31 years. He was formerly employed by Nordstrom Machine Shop in Grove City. He was a member of Sandy Lake Baptist Church. Mr. Rodemoyer was a longtime outdoor enthusiast. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and he especially enjoyed spring turkey hunting. He also enjoyed tinkering in his garage and restoring his 1938 Chevy. Mr. Rodemoyer was a dedicated father and many people were proud to call him a friend or relative. He was a great man, and he was loved by many and will be sadly missed. In addition to his wife, Mr. Rodemoyer is survived by four sons, Fred Rodemoyer and his wife, Kathy, of Stoneboro, Mark Rodemoyer and his wife, Judy, of Grove City, Brian Rodemoyer and his wife, Shelia, of Polk, and Steve Rodemoyer of Stoneboro; two daughters, Debbie Millero and her husband, Ray, of Stoneboro, and Donna Robledo and her husband, Andy, of Mesquite, Texas; and two stepdaughters, Rhonda Morris and her husband, Bob, and Kim Snyder, all of Athens, Texas. Also surviving are two sisters, Martha Ann Sutley and Bonnie McFeaters, both of Grove City; a brother, Don Rodemoyer and his wife, Shirley, of Grove City; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Rodemoyer was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Rodemoyer; a sister, Judy Uber; and an infant grandson, Daniel Parker. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Cunningham Funeral Home Inc., 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. "Barney" Rupp, 82, of South Bethlehem, died Saturday afternoon, Feb. 7, 2009, at his residence. He was first married to Donna J. Rupp, who preceded him in death Oct. 31, 1991. He later married Ethel Copenhaver Hoover on Dec. 25, 1994, and she survives. Also among his survivors are six step-great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Bish Memorial Funeral Home, 206 S. St., New Bethlehem, and from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Oakland Church of God in Distant. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. John Phillips, pastor, officiating.
