Patton Sr., 73, a former Sugarcreek resident, died Monday, Dec. 8, 2008, in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Patton, a 1953 Rocky Grove High School graduate, had lived in Columbus since his discharge from the Air Force. He was retired from Sears and Roebuck. Among his survivors are his wife, the former Donna Earley of Columbus; two sons, Robert Patton Jr. and Curtis Patton, both of Columbus; three brothers, Jim, Jack and Paul; one sister, Shirley; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Helen L. Redick, 97, of New Wilmington, formerly of St. Petersburg, died at 2:04 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, at Overlook Medical Clinic in New Wilmington. Born Aug. 21, 1911, in St. Petersburg, Mrs. Redick was the daughter of Percy L. and Mary Ellen Womer Boyd. Mrs. Redick was of the Methodist faith. She was a homemaker and enjoyed flower gardening. She was married May 3, 1947, in Oil City to Lloyd L. Redick who preceded her in death of Feb. 6, 1981. Mrs. Redick is survived by a son, Richard E. Beichner and his wife, Ailene, of New Castle; two grandsons, Robert L. Beichner of New Castle; Richard A. Beichner and his wife, Kimberly, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two great-grandchildren, Kaylyn and Matthew Beichner of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and a number of nieces nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Redick was preceded in death by four sisters, Sally Karnes, Florence Goughler, Anne Grazier and Lwella Boyd; four brothers, Arthur Boyd, Clarence Boyd, Leland Boyd and Fred Boyd; and her first husband, Claire Miller. Friends will be received from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. Friday at the Hile Funeral Home Inc., 802 Grove St., St. Petersburg. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Reinsel, 74, formerly of 118 Bissell Ave., Oil City, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008, at her home in the village of President. The Reinsel Funeral Home in Oil City is handling arrangements. A complete obituary will be published at a later date. Rachel M. Richard, 93, of New Castle, died Wednesday morning, Dec. 10, 2008, at her residence in Union Township. Born Feb. 24, 1915, in New Castle, she was the daughter of Eric and Ida Luama Ecklund. She was married to Charles F. Richard who preceded her in death on Oct. 30, 1972. Mrs Richard was a homemaker. She enjoyed the big band dance and swing music. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs. Richard is survived by a daughter, Barbara Ioria of Kennerdell; five grandchildren, Sherri Bartholomed and her husband, David, of New Castle; Martin Ionio and his wife, Kym, of Princeton; Bobbie Rochon and her husband, Jon, of Jamestown; and Nancy Weise and her husband, James, of Campbell, Ohio; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Richard was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter Ecklund and Victor Ecklund; one half-brother, Albert Ecklund; a sister, Geneva Fagan Ecklund; and one half-sister, Sigrid Ecklund. Weingard, 64, of Hotchkiss, Colo., formerly of Marienville, died Monday, Dec. 8, 2008, at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, Colo. Mr. Weingard was seriously injured in an automobile accident on Oct. 2, 2008. Born May 30, 1944, in Franklin, he was the son of the late Cecil and Isabelle Marsteller Weingard. Mr. Weingard was married in 1969 at the Free Methodist church to the former Alice Whitton, who survives. Mr. Weingard was a plumber's assistant by trade. In addition to his wife, Alice Weingard of Hotchkiss, Colo., Mr. Weingard is survived by five daughters, Dixie Epp of Noblesville, Ind., Holly Miller of Spencer, Ind., Heidi Echols of Landisville, N.J., Jodi Randel of Miltonvale, Kan., and Lyndi Booth of Madison, Fla. He is also survived by two brothers, Robert Weingard of Townville and Darrell Weingard of Montrose, Colo.; one sister, Linda Lewis of Titusville; seven granddaughters and seven grandsons. The family will receive friends and family from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ronald McDonald Funeral Home in Marienville. Wyman, 64, of 3261 Curllsville Road., Curllsville, died at 6:10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, at the Clarion Hospital. Born May 4, 1944, in Curllsville, she was the daughter of Eugene "Bud" and Virginia Smith McCall. Mrs. Wyman was employed at Owens-Brockway Glass Plant in Clarion for 33 years. She retired in 2003. She was a member of the Grace Community Church in Curllsville where she belonged to the Grace Community Church Christmas craft club. She also enjoyed crocheting and collecting cook books. Ms. Wyman is survived by a daughter, Tammy Archie of Vanderwoort, Ark.; two grandsons, Shane Archie of Bloomsburg and Jarid Archie of Broken Bow, Okla.; a granddaughter, Codie Archie of Vanderwoort, Ark.; two sisters, Betty Lou Leasure of Fort Myers, Fla. and Jean Say of Callensburg; a sister-in-law, Evelyn McCall of Curllsville; a special friend, Guy Hepler of New Bethlehem; a special dog, "Tater;" and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ms. Wyman was preceded in death by a son, Terry Allen Wyman; an infant daughter; a brother Richard "Dick" McCall; and two brothers-in-law, Roy Leasure and Gene Say. Perry Highway, Mercer, Lot 110, Coolspring Township, died at 9:20 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, at Butler Memorial Hospital from an extended illness. Born Feb. 9, 1934, in Tippery, Venango County, she was the daughter of the late Boston Leslie Confer and Lula Irene Chambers. Mrs. Amon's survivors include a sister, Delores Gayetty and her husband, Marvin, of Franklin. Getting it right - Cluster Allen Bud Goodman Cluster Allen Bud Goodman, 72, of Marienville HC 3, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008, at his home following an extended illness. Born Dec. 19, 1935, in Perryville, he was the son of Elton Lawson and Elizabeth Shimmer Horn Goodman. Among Mr. Goodman's survivors are a sister, Peg of Prospect; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mr. Goodman was preceded in death by a son, Cluster A. Goodman Jr. Getting it right - Thomas Burns McCauley Thomas Burns McCauley, 57, of Oil City, passed away Saturday evening, Dec. 6, 2008, in his home after a courageous battle with cancer. Born March 8, 1951, in Oil City, he was a son of Henry J. and Frances M. Friggle McCauley. Mr. McCauley's survivors include a son, Jason McCauley.
