Kost, Parker Rosalee Mae Welms Riley, 223 Rockwood Ave., Oil City Cora Josephine Hartsock Tologo, 2138 Horsecreek Road, Cranberry Township Phyllis M. Beary Phyllis M. Beary, 75, of Lake Lucy, Tionesta, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004, in Beverly Healthcare-Shippenville. Born Dec. 7, 1928, in Lincolnville , she was the daughter of Dewey E. and Mable Danner Geer. She attended Bloomfield High School in Lincolnville and then Erie Business College. Mrs. Beary was a longtime resident of the Fryburg / Tionesta area. She had worked in the prothonatary's office in the Clarion County Courthouse and for Crator Manufacturing in Tionesta. Mrs. Beary liked to play the organ and bake pies. She loved to travel, her flower garden and her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Michael Church in Fryburg . Mrs. Beary was married June 9, 1947, to Ronald F. Beary, who survives. Also surviving are five children: Marlene T. Smerker and husband, Denny, of Marble, Thomas L. Beary and his fiancée, June Thorhauer, of Tionesta and Clarion, Linda M. Carulli and her husband, Joseph, of Tionesta, Richard A. Beary and wife, Susan, of Lucinda and Rhonda J. Mortimer of Warren and her friend, Alan Poyer, of Bradford; and the following grandchildren and great grandchildren: Michele Smerker of Clarion and her children, Brandon Proctor of Idaho and Marcus and Dashon Smerker of Clarion, Craig Smerker and his son, Mackenzie, of Tionesta. Stephani Smerker and her daughter, Briana, of Clarion, and Erica Smerker, Jeanette King and husband, Rodney, and son, Jory, of Franklin, Joseph Carulli and wife Tennille, and children, Brooke and Trey, of Rocky Grove, Nathaniel Carulli and wife, Stacy, of Penn Hills, Garrett Carulli of Tionesta, Elizabeth Hunter and husband, B.J., and daughter, Kyra, of Clarion, and Sara Beary and Seth Beary, both of Lucinda. She also is survived by two sisters and two brothers: Lorna Fenio of Terre Haute, Ind., Glenn Geer and wife, Rose, of Pittsburgh, Gerry Geer and wife, Lois, of Pittsburgh and Gayle Shreve and husband, Glenn, of Canadohta Lake. She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Eleanor Geer; and great-granddaughter, Sierra Janae King. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Faller Funeral Home Inc. in Fryburg. Parish vigil services will be held at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Michael Church, Fryburg, with the Rev. David Poulson, pastor, as the presider. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Fryburg. The family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation. Richard E. "Junior" Delo Richard E. "Junior" Delo, 78, of Colwell's Mobile Home Park, Huckleberry Ridge Road, Knox, died at 6:45 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, 2004, at his residence. Born Aug. 7, 1926, in East Brady, he was the son of Richard E. and Dolly Mae Pascorell Delo. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the European Theatre of Operations. Mr. Delo worked at Knox Glass, retiring in 1987 after 44 years of service. Most recently he worked for Weaver Auto Parts in Shippenville. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Clarion County Gun Owners. Mr. Delo enjoyed hunting, riding his 4-wheeler, mowing and NASCAR. He was married Oct. 3, 1948, to Betty Heil, who died June 28, 1993. Surviving are three sisters, Betty Burris and Bessie Delo, both of Knox, and Mary Elder of Erie; three brothers, Paul Delo and wife, Nancy, of Rockland, Robert Delo and wife, Ruth, of Knox and Donald Delo of Erie; his good friend and companion, Barb Seigworth of Knox; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Delo was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Delo, who was killed in action in World War II; and a sister, Patty Sollinger. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the David C. McEntire Funeral Home, 504 E. Penn St., Knox. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Randy Evans, VNA Hospice minister, officiating. Interment will follow in Cedarview Memorial Park near Strattanville. The family suggests memorials be made to the Clarion-Forest VNA Hospice Program, P.O. Box 668, Knox, 16232. Donald E. Gilmore Donald E. Gilmore, 63, of Petrolia, died at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, in UPMC Pittsburgh after suffering a long extended illness. Born Oct. 7, 1941, in Beaver Township, Clarion County, he was the son of Donald R. and Ruth A. McGuirk Gilmore. He was a 1959 graduate of Keystone High School, Knox, and was a 1960 graduate of Vale Institute Technical School in Blairsville. In early years, Mr. Gilmore was employed by Kooman's Store in Knox, Corso's Market in Parker and for a period of time worked at the former Glass Containers Corp. in Parker. He then became employed in the fall of 1966 by the former Witco Chemical Co. in Petrolia. He retired as a boiler house operator in 2001 due to ill health. Mr. Gilmore also owned and operated DW Enterprises of Petrolia for a number of years as well as being involved with local logging. He and his wife were among the original members of the Valley Dam Sportsmen & Snowmobile Association of Ridgeville, Butler County. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed fishing and boating. Mr. Gilmore was Catholic by faith. He was married June 11, 1960, to Ruth Ann "Charli" Benesh, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Maria A. Buzard of Bruin and Mrs. Kent (Marlene K. "Marty") Pope of Emlenton; one son, Donald E. Gilmore Jr. of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren, Nicole Hanshaw of Virginia Beach, Va., Tricia Gilmore of Pittsburgh and Chase Hunter Pope of Emlenton; and three great-grandchildren, Isaac, Sara and Ashley Hanshaw of Springfield, Ohio. Mr. Gilmore was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Greg Gilmore; and a niece. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home Inc., Wayne Street, Parker. A Blessing Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. William "Bill" McGuirk, a cousin of Mr. Gilmore, officiating. John E. Kost John E. Kost, 90, of Parker, died of natural causes late Sunday afternoon, Nov. 14, 2004, at his residence. The H. A complete obituary will be published Tuesday in The Derrick Rosalee Mae Welms Riley Rosalee Mae Welms Riley, 72, of 223 Rockwood Ave., Oil City, died at 3:05 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004, in her home. Cora Josephine Hartsock Tologo Cora Josephine Hartsock Tologo, 81, of 2138 Horsecreek Road, Cranberry Township, died at 7:10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12, 2004, in UPMC Northwest, Seneca. She was born April 1, 1923, in Williamsport. Mrs. Tologo attended the Free Methodist Church of Oil City where she was a member of the WMI. She enjoyed embroidery and reading. Mrs. Tologo was married Aug. 10, 1946, to Walter J. Tologo, who died Feb. 20, 1980. Surviving are one son, Regis Tologo of Franklin; one daughter, Sherrie Ann Tologo of Oil City; one daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Tologo of Oil City; five grandchildren, David Tologo and wife, Ulrike of Fort Lee, Va., Michael Tologo and wife, Teresa, of York, Lori Johnson and husband, Bobby Jo, of Bossier, La., Amy Griffin and husband, Michael, of Oil City and Keith Tologo of Oil City; and four great-grandchildren, Brian Johnson, Cindy Tologo, Mark Tologo and Patrick Griffin, all at home. She also is survived by two sisters-in-law, Thelma Hartsock of Williamsport and Bernice Hartsock of Las Vegas, Nev.; a special friend, Bessie Molnar of Oil City; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Tologo was preceded in death by one son, Larry Tologo; one daughter, Suzette Corleeta Faith Tologo; two brothers, Victor Hartsock and Mark Hartsock; and three sisters, Mary Knepp, Helen Webb and Ruby Hopkins. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Morrison Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. T. Christopher Hill, pastor of the Oil City Free Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Heckathorn Cemetery.
