I wonder if your Amy is related? These folks were married in the Montgomery/Chester county area and then moved on to Mifflin County, then on to Venango/Clarion County in 1823. Their living oldest son married Susanna Dunkle and had 4 maybe 5 children. She died and John (1809), remarried a Mary Beer(s). Johns sister's married Peter Dunkle. It is believed in some circles that This Peter married Mary Ann Fitzgerald first and then Nancy Fitzgerald second. Nancy did live in their home during a census taking and then is listed as his wife. I have never figured out who the Elizabeth Fitzgerald in the Dunkle family is, but Mathais and Sarah may have had a daughter named Eliziabeth. The women are so hard to track. there is a Greg Fitzgerald listed on some trees, but My guess is John and Greg are the same person. Any of this hit home with any one out there???
