M.Hart,Notary Public in and for said County,J.M..UNCAPHER,who being duly sworn according to law deposes and says: That he is 42 years of age;that he is a resident of Hovey Twp.,Armstrong County,Pennsylvania;that he is the J.M.Uncapher by whom the death of ( Mrs. )Laura Downing,late of Richland Township,Clarion County,Pennsylvania,was proved before A.P.Hess,Register of Wills in and for Clarion County,October 24th,1906;that the said decedent was known to him,her friends and neighbors as Laura,and from his best information and understanding at the time that was her full christened name;that upon later inquiry and information derived from credible persons,he finds it to be Laura Ellen Downing and so believe it;and that the said Laura Ellen Downing is the identical Laura Downing whose death was proved October 24th 1906,as aforesaid. In the Matter of the Estate of Mrs.Laura Downing,late of Richland Township,Clarion County,Pennsylvania In The ORPHAN'S COURT OF CLARION COUNTY To A.F.Hess,Esquire, Register of Wills in and for Clarion County: Petition of JOHN G. HAGER,Administrator of the Estate of Mrs.Laura Downing,late of Richland Township,Clarion County,deceased,for leave to supply the full and complete christened name of the said Mrs.Laura Downing,deceased,and prayer that the Letters of Administration be ammended to conform. WHERAS,in the proof of death and granting of Letters of Administration upon the estate of Mrs.Laura Downing,late of Richland Township,deceased,in the Orphan's Court of Clarion County,under date of October 24th,1906.it appeared upon the best information obtainable at the time that the full christened name of decedent was Laura,as proved: AND WHEREAS,in truth and in fact,the full and complete name of said decedentis ( Mrs. ) Laura Ellen Downing as evidence by the affidavit of Mrs.Sarah A.Sipler,her mother,and J.M.Uncapher,hereto attached. So showing your petitioner prays that the Letters of Administration upon the estate of said decedent issued to him under date of 24th,October,A.D.1906,be amended to conform to the full ,true and complete name of said decedent,to wit:-Mrs.Laura Downing.
