My grandfather, Charles A. Smith, was born in Pa. 13 October 1864. I do not know the names of his parents. Did hear Charles father was adopted, nor where he was born. He was married 09 May 1893 in St. Mary's Catholic church in Crown, Clarion County. His application gave his address as Marienville, Forest County, Pa. Wife was from Leeper, Clarion County, Pa. I have been at a brick wall forever!! I hoped if I got his birth certificate, I could learn his parent's names.....who knows, the name Smith may be the adopted parent's name. I sure need help and suggestions !!
