His parents were James Washington Black (1845-1890) and Olive Thompson (1853-1933). Her parents were William Thompson (1820-1870) and Rebecca Anderson (1821-1870). I verified these dates by their headstones at the Parker Presbyterian Cemetery. I have not been able to find any of her family beyond her parents yet. I do have a list of all her children and most of their children. I have an aunt who is still living who remembers her grandmother, Olive. She has been telling me some stories about her. She was quite a woman. She raised most of her children without her husband. He was killed when a tree fell on him. I hope this has helped you. Please keep in touch. Maybe we can help each other. There may be a connection as Thomas named his son born in 1843, William L. Thompson. Perhaps William is Thomas's brother-his birthday would fit. Where is Parker Cemetery?
