Maria E. and Luella Celie married Brewsters and Maud married a Heil. Lawrence (Lon), Alfred Brecht, Clarence E., Curtis Clyde, Warren Ernest, Floyd Edvert, and Jay S. were the sons. Floyd had four sons and a daughter, Russel F., Jack Harry, Merle, Kenneth, and Mable. This Jack, my father's first cousin, is the Jack you knew. After my dad passed in 1981, we visited him several times. He adored his mother and lived with her in Harrison's 1877 homestead until it burned in 1973 from ignition of a shake roof, an event following chimney work that Jack challenged. He was assured that the shorter chimney would be OK. While teaching, he learned that his house was burning. He built the present house on the site of the homestead. Several of the above are buried in the Lickingville cemetery by the old Methodist church that was used for 100 years. It is starting to fall, the tower leans. Some are buried in the Tylersburg cemetery, others in the Summerville cemetery. No relative - a C.F. Smith is listed in the 1912 Farm. Twp. tax record as a teacher with worth of $75. I don't know Frederick Smith. Warren E. Smith III Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
