Any thought would be appreciated Mary Cole [email protected] ============================== Sherry Elaine Silvis Sherry Elaine Silvis, 59, formerly of Cherry Run Street, Rimersburg, and East Brady, died unexpectedly of natural causes at 9 a.m. Monday, June 25, 2007, in the Clarion Dialysis Center. Mrs. Silvis had resided at the Golden Living Center in Clarion for the past year. Born July 28, 1947, in Kittanning, she was the daughter of Mrs. Betty McElroy McClure of East Brady. She was a 1967 graduate of Karns City High School. Mrs. Silvis was a member of the East Brady Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts. Mrs. Silvis was married in Armstrong County Oct. 10, 1986, to Raymond Silvis, who preceded her in death in 2001. Surviving are two sons, Robert McElroy of Westmoreland County and Eric McElroy of Baltimore, Md.; her mother, Mrs. Betty McClure of East Brady; two brothers, Daniel Six of East Brady and Steven Six and wife, Jeanne, of Karns City; three sisters, Cinda Six and husband, Harry Holtz, of Petrolia, Edith Pennington and husband, Robert, of Enola and Rebecca Six and Paul Edmunds of Flanders, N.J.; and a number of nieces and nephews.. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Silvis was preceded in death by one son, Bryan McElroy Feb. 8, 1974; and two brothers, Randall Six in 1998 and Michael Six in 2006. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Richard D. Hillis Funeral Home in Petrolia. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas Pesci, pastor of the East Brady Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.
