I am currently researching Hovey Shoup (Showp). I was wondering if anybody might be able to help me find out more information about him. I have found him in the 1900 Census in Perry Twp., Clarion, PA and then I have found him in the 1880 Census in Piney Twp., Clarion, PA. Hovey Shoup (Showp) married to Anna Unknown married before 1876. Children: Elsie Shoup born abt 1876 Charles Shoup born abt 1879 William Foster Shoup born abt 1878 Parks Shoup born abt 1881 Kernel (Colonel) Shoup born abt 1883 Edith Shoup born abt 1889 Samuel Shoup born abt 1891 George Shoup born abt 1895 Henry Shoup born abt 1897 Hovey and Anna are buried in the New Callensburg Cemetery.
