Gawrys, getting it right Carol Ann Lynam Carol Ann Lynam, 67, of Seneca, died at 5:50 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2007, in the Oil City Presbyterian Home following an extended illness. Sherry Elaine Silvis Sherry Elaine Silvis, 59, formerly of Cherry Run Street, Rimersburg, and East Brady, died unexpectedly of natural causes at 9 a.m. Monday, June 25, 2007, in the Clarion Dialysis Center. Mrs. Silvis had resided at the Golden Living Center in Clarion for the past year. Born July 28, 1947, in Kittanning, she was the daughter of Mrs. Betty McElroy McClure of East Brady. She was a 1967 graduate of Karns City High School. Mrs. Silvis was a member of the East Brady Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts. Mrs. Silvis was married in Armstrong County Oct. 10, 1986, to Raymond Silvis, who preceded her in death in 2001. Surviving are two sons, Robert McElroy of Westmoreland County and Eric McElroy of Baltimore, Md.; her mother, Mrs. Betty McClure of East Brady; two brothers, Daniel Six of East Brady and Steven Six and wife, Jeanne, of Karns City; three sisters, Cinda Six and husband, Harry Holtz, of Petrolia, Edith Pennington and husband, Robert, of Enola and Rebecca Six and Paul Edmunds of Flanders, N.J.; and a number of nieces and nephews.. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Silvis was preceded in death by one son, Bryan McElroy Feb. 8, 1974; and two brothers, Randall Six in 1998 and Michael Six in 2006. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Richard D. Hillis Funeral Home in Petrolia. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas Pesci, pastor of the East Brady Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut. Robin D. Warner, 37, died Monday, June 25, 2007, in Muncie, Pa. Born Nov. 24, 1969, in Titusville, she was the daughter of Raymond and Barbara Proper Warner. She was raised in Titusville and attended Titusville schools. Miss Warner spent most of her adult life living in Warren. She was a member of the Breedtown Baptist Church. Miss Warner loved animals, being outdoors, taking walks, crocheting and doing crafts. Surviving are her parents of Titusville; two sisters, Renee Ohl and her husband, Steven, of Titusville and Reagan Snow and her husband, Scott, of Cranberry; a half brother, Randy Warner and his wife, Kathy, of Titusville; maternal grandparents, Clair and Betty Proper of Titusville; two nieces, Diana Ohl and Samantha Ohl of Titusville; three nephews, Matthew, Joe and Zac Warner of Titusville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Tina Irene Wentling, 43, of St. Petersburg, died Monday evening, June 25, 2007, following a motorcycle accident on Route 208 near Knox. Born Aug. 16, 1963, in Oil City, she was the daughter of Lewis E. Gates and Kathryn Hughes Reges. She owned and operated a hair and nail salon in Monroeville, taught motorcycle safety courses and was a Pennsylvania certified school bus instructor. She was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. Surviving are her parents, Lewis E. and Velma Gates of Butler and Kathryn Reges of Eau Claire; her husband, Jeffre R Wentling, whom she married July 16, 2002; three sons, twins Randy and Ryan Neely and Jeremy Lowers, all of St. Petersburg. She also is survived by two brothers, Scott Reges of Eau Claire and William Reges and his wife, Julie, of Emlenton; three sisters, Kelley Carr and her husband, Thomas, of Boyers, Lisa Padilla and her husband, Orlando, of Coppers Cove, Texas, and LeaAnn Stalker and her husband, Rick, of Hilliards; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and one great-nephew. Also surviving are two stepsisters, Cathy Stewart and Beverly Hawk, both of Saxonburg; and one stepbrother, Larry Huffman of Saxonburg. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Wheeler, 56, of 136 Wheeler Road, Stoneboro, died at 6:10 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2007, in UPMC McKeesport. Born April 11, 1951, in Franklin, she was the daughter of Harold and Shirley Byrd Wygant. Mrs. Wheeler attended the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of Franklin. She was a homemaker and enjoyed bingo, music, bird watching and animals, especially her dog, Gabby. Mrs. Wheeler was married Aug. 14, 1970, to William J. Wheeler, who survives. Also surviving are two children, Randy Lee Wheeler of New Castle and Angela Sue Wheeler of Stoneboro; and two grandchildren, Andy Wheeler and Mark Wheeler, both of West Sunbury.
