Andrews Melvin R. Andrews, 75, of 4111/2 Hoffman Ave., Oil City, died at 11:30 p.m.. Friday, June 22, 2007, in St. Vincent Health Center, Erie. Lauran Izabelle Billotte,1, of Bashline Lane, Sligo, died at 9:10 a.m. Sunday, June 24, 2007, in UPMC Children's Hospital, Pittsburgh, of complications of a congenital heart defect. Born May 17, 2006, in Clarion Hospital, she was the only child of Michael P. and Samantha L. Bashline Billotte. Lauran enjoyed music and books and was known by the Children's Hospital staff as "the girl with the curls." Surviving, in addition to her parents of Sligo, are her maternal grandmother, Laura Bashline of Sligo; paternal grandfather, Daniel Rankin of Rimersburg; paternal grandmother, Martha Billotte of Rimersburg; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Richard D. Hillis Funeral Home in Rimersburg. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Dan George of Grace Community Church in Curllsville, officiating. "Clem" Boyer, 87, of Maple Shade Village, Cranberry Township, died at 1:47 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2007, in Country Acres Personal Care Home, Titusville. Born Feb. 21, 1920, in Salem, Clarion County, he was the son of Clem and Phoebe Whitling Boyer. Mr. Boyer attended public schools in the Rockland and Cranberry areas. He owned and operated several gas stations, Boyer Trailer Sales, Clemar Crafts, as well as the first ice cream tasty freeze in the area. He also drove school bus for the Cranberry Area School District for 30 years. Mr. Boyer and his wife spent many winter months in Florida where they enjoyed fishing at Lake Marian. They would then entertain friends and family at a fish fry in Maple Shade with the fish that they had caught in Florida. Mr. Boyer had many friends in both Pennsylvania and Florida and will be missed by all who knew him. He was married in Emlenton June 28, 1947, to Marian Ritchey, who preceded him in death Feb. 16, 2007. Surviving are a brother-in-law, John "Jack" Ritchey and wife, Rose Marie, of Emlenton, a sister-in-law, Donnabelle Boyer of Franklin; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Boyer was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters and their husbands, Ethel and Paul Rumberger, Doris and Emery Lineman and Ada and John Roberts, and a sister, Elsie Boyer; and a brother, Edgar "Bud" Boyer. Arlene Francis Lindsay, 72, of Pine Hill Church Road, Kennerdell, Rockland Township, died at 4:22 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2007, in UPMC Northwest, Seneca. Born Oct. 7, 1934, in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of Clarence and Esta Knolph Dennison. Mrs. Lindsay was a member of the Six Points Church of God of Prophecy and also attended the Fertigs Church of God of Prophecy. She loved the Lord with all her heart and was a loving and wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, and spending time with her family and her two dogs. Mrs. Lindsay was married in Ellwood City July 28, 1951, to John E. Lindsay Sr., who preceded her in death Sept. 7, 2005. Surviving are two children, John E. Lindsay Jr. of Kennerdell and Sharon E. Biddle and husband, John, of Kennerdell; five grandchildren, Amy Lindsay of California, Mellisha Pearce of Parker, Lisa Roess of Oil City, John Lindsay III of Kennerdell and Paula Lindsay of Oil City; and 11 great-grandchildren. She also is survived by one brother, Dune Dennison of Beaver Falls; a brother-in-law, Raymond Lindsay and wife, Marge, of East Palestine, Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Gladys Robinson and husband, George, of Freedom, and Jean Price and husband, Jim, of Enon Valley; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Lindsay was preceded in death by two sisters, Lora Jody Dennison Fisher and Thelma Pearl Monza; and five brothers, James, Ed, Roy, Eugene and Glenn Dennison. Born Oct. 14, 1923, in Plumcreek Township, Armstrong County, she was a daughter of Wallace and Margaret Kammerdiener Caldwell. Mrs. McAninch was a member of the Bread of Life Church in Alcola. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, quilting and reading. Mrs. McAninch was married Jan. 2, 1947, to Ernest Neal McAninch, who preceded her in death in December 1982. Surviving are two sons, Wallace McAninch of Goheenville and Gary McAninch and wife, Nicki, of New Bethlehem; five daughters, Loretta Fackender and husband, George, of New Bethlehem, Donna Martz and husband, Richard, of Ringgold, Zelda Geist of Kittanning, Margaret Bowers and husband, Arnold, of Dora and Linda Bowers and husband, Terry, of New Bethlehem; 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. McAninch was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth McAninch; a brother, Albert Caldwell; and a sister, Bernice Peters. William John Ralston Jr., 61, of Hilliards, died Friday morning, June 22, 2007, in the Autumn Grove Nursing Home in Harrisville following an extended illness. Born Oct. 25, 1945, in Kittanning, he was the son of the late William J. and Beverly Crawford Ralston. Mr. Ralston was employed at the Office of Personnel Management in Boyers until his retirement due to illness. He attended the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Old Anandale. Mr. Ralston enjoyed golfing and bowling and was an avid sports fan. He was married Aug. 15, 1970, to Gwendolyn Ann Heckethorn, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Elliot Tyler Ralston of Hilliards; a brother, James D. Ralston of Dallas, Texas; and his mother-in-law, Gwen Heckethorn of Hilliards. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Leonard Heckethorn. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday in the William F. Young Funeral Home, Main Street, West Sunbury.
