"TINA" DAVENPORT, 39, of Elk Acres, Knox RD 2, died at 8:10 p.m. Sunday, July 18, 2004, at her residence after a brief illness. Born October 7, 1964, in Clarion, she was the daughter of Arthur Leroy and Caroline Susan Culp Davenport. Ms. Davenport had been employed for many years at the Voyager Inn, Franklin. More recently she had been employed at Ford-New Holland in New Holland. She was a member of the Clarion County Rod & Gun Club in Knox. Ms. Davenport enjoyed attending her sons' athletic events, owning and riding her Harley-Davidson motorcycle and her many pets. She especially loved her family and many friends. Surviving are two sons, Michael Switzer and Mitchel Davenport, both of Knox; her father, Arthur L. Davenport of Lancaster; and a brother and his wife, Frank L. and Carrie Davenport of Lancaster. Her maternal grandmother, Irene Smith Culp of Kossuth; a niece, Vicki S. Davenport Keitz of Minot, ND; two nephews, Kodie A. Davenport of Lancaster and Justin! R. Kline of Texas; several aunts and uncles and many cousins also survive her. Her mother preceded Ms. Davenport in death on July 26, 1997. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the David C. McEntire Funeral Home, 504 E. Penn St., Knox. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Randy Evans, hospice minister for Clarion-Forest VNA, officiating. Interment will follow in Knox Union Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to the Clarion-Forest VNA Hospice Program, P.O. Box 668, Knox, 16232.
