Frankenberger, Bowmen Road, Franklin Rhea Friedman, Squirrel Hill, formerly of Franklin Cheryl Mook Rowland, Franklin Stella Loretta Rubis, Gilbert, Ariz., formerly of Clarion Jan J. Wydro, Lilburn, Ga., formerly of Oil City Ralph W. Youkers Jr., Orlando, Fla., formerly of Knox Marguerite J. Frankenberger Marguerite J. Frankenberger, 82, of Bowmen Road, Franklin, died Wednesday, July 14, 2004, in The Caring Place. Born June 4, 1922, in Sugarcreek, she was the daughter of Charles P. and Aletha DuPont Walters. Mrs. Frankenberger was a cook for Venango Manor and Valley Grove High School. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, baking, going to church and her farm life. Mrs. Frankenberger was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was married March 3, 1940, to Bert M. Frankenberger, who died Oct. 20, 1973. Surviving are three children, Thomas E. Frankenberger and wife, Karen, of California, Gilbert R. Frankenberger and wife, Sherrie, of Texas, and Charles W Frankenberger Sr. and wife, Lori, of Franklin; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Margaret Frankenberger of Lisbon Falls, Maine; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Doris Wagner and husband, Bill of Florida, and Mrs. Pauline Thompson and husband, Richard, of Dempseytown; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She also is survived by a sister, Mrs. Betty Patterson of Florida; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Barbara Walters of Graften, Ohio. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Frankenberger; a stepson, Melvin; two brothers, Fred P. Walters and Charles Walters; and a sister, Frances. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home. Funeral services will b held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Bishop Alan Zinz of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints, Franklin, officiating. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery. Rhea Friedman Rhea Friedman, 93, of Squirrel Hill, formerly of Franklin, died Tuesday, July 13, 2004. Born Oct. 1, 1911, in Franklin, she was the daughter of Hymen A. and Anna B. Cohen Friedman. Miss Friedman is survived by one brother, Alfred B. "Jim" Friedman of Squirrel Hill. She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Friedman Nadler. A graveside service and interment will be held at noon today in West View Cemetery of Rodef Shalom Congregation.. The Burton L. Hirsch Funeral Home, 2704 Murray Ave., Pittsburgh, is in charge of arrangements. Cheryl Mook Rowland Cheryl Mook Rowland, 46, of 1194 Mercer Road, Franklin, died at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2004, in UPMC Northwest, Franklin. Born May 6, 1958, in Franklin, she was the daughter of Robert W. and Nancy J. Jewel Mook. She was a 1976 graduate of Franklin High School. Mrs. Rowland was employed for 14 years as a RSA at Polk Center. She was a member of the Polk Presbyterian Church. Surviving are three children, Randy Rowland Jr. of Seneca, Timothy L. Rowland and friend, Becky Knoch, of Slippery Rock and James R. Rowland at home; and her boyfriend, Mannie Doutt of Franklin. She also is survived by two brothers, Robert W. Mook Jr. and wife, Debbie, of Polk and William B. Mook and wife, Natalie, of Franklin; a sister, Patty Baker and husband, Merle, of Franklin; special friends, Deb and Ron Wessell of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and grandparents, she was preceded in death by one cousin, Donald Snyder. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. John Bower, pastor of the Polk Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Old Sandy Cemetery. Stella Loretta Rubis Stella Loretta Rubis, 86, of Gilbert, Ariz., formerly of Clarion, died Saturday, July 10, 2004, at Hospice Facility of the Valley, Chandler, Ariz. Born March 14, 1918, in Rimersburg, she was the daughter of Joeseph and Anna Montana. Mrs. Rubis was a homemaker all of her life and enjoyed spending time with her children. She was married to Robert R. Rubis, who preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons, Sam Rubis and Bob Rubis and wife, Francie, of Gilbert, Ariz.; a daughter, Debbie Love and husband, John, of Gilbert, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Rubis was preceded in death by five brothers, Louis Montana, Ralph Montana, Andrew Montana, Sam Montana and Charles Montana; and five sisters, Mary Grese, Ange Dills, Sue Kubik, Minnie Liniman and Lucy Salvo. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Immaculate Conception Church with Msgr. Joseph J. Riccardo, pastor, presiding. Interment was in Rimersburg Cemetery. The Goble Funeral Home of Clarion was in charge of arrangements. Jan J. Wydro Jan J. Wydro, 60, of Lilburn, Ga., formerly of Oil City, died Thursday, July 8, 2004, of a stroke. He was born and raised in Oil City, the son of John Wydro of Oil City and the late Stella Kush Wydro. Mr. Wydro was a graduate of Penn State University. He had been employed as a project engineer by the Nordson Corp., Inc. where he was holder of several patents and was a member of the "Old Timers" Club. Mr. Wydro was widely known throughout the United States and other countries as an approved shorthair judge in the Cat Fanciers' Club. He and his wife, Bonnie, had resided in Georgia since 1979. She survives. Also surviving are his father and stepmother, John and Phyllis Wydro of Oil City; a brother, Philip Wydro and wife, Angela, of Conyers, Ga.; a sister, Paula Phenicie and brother-in-law, Bob, of Cooperstown. He also is survived by a brother-in-law, Dr. James Liles of Oakland, Calif.; his mother-in-law, Anne Liles of Lima, Ohio, and several stepbrothers and stepsisters, nieces and nephews. His mother preceded him in death. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Cat Fanciers Association, P.O. Youkers Jr., 64, of Orlando, Fla., formerly of Knox, a graduate of Keystone High School, Knox, and who formerly had been married to the former Joyce Whitehill of Kossuth, died Tuesday, July 13, 2004, in Orlando.
