The Church was destroyed by a fire in the 1920's and I was told all the records were lost. I have not checked St. Michael's church in Fryburg. The courthouse in Clarion has marriage licenses back to the 1880's , but I never looked any up for Raffertys. I'll try to go to the courthouse and look them up. I am related to the Slaters and have some material on them. The only Rafferty I have any information on is John Rafferty married to Anna Walley , I have been in contact with his grandson but haven't talked to him lately. He told me that he had some James Rafferty's things when he was in the Civil War, and was giving them to his son in California. Jim
