Atts, 84, of Route 62, Oil City, died Sunday evening, April 10, 2005, at UPMC Northwest, Seneca. The Hile-Best Funeral Home, Seneca, is in charge of arrangements. Holly Ann Banner Holly Ann Banner, 25, of North Ridgeville, Ohio, died Saturday, April 9, 2005, at University Hospital, Cleveland, following a long illness. Born Dec. 27, 1979, in Sharon, she was a daughter of parents Thomas J. and Linda L. Miller Banner of North Ridgeville. She had been a resident of North Ridgeville, Ohio, for the last 20 years. Miss Banner was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy, Cleveland, and earned an associate of art degree from Lorain County Community College. She graduated from Ohio University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in specialized studies. Miss Banner worked as a data entry clerk for Overnite Transportation Company, Cleveland. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, North Ridgeville, where she worked as a PSR teacher. Miss Banner also was also a member of the Ohio University's alumni association, Lorain County Community College and St. Joseph Academy. In addition to her parents, Miss Banner is survived her paternal grandmother, Callista Banner of Shippenville; her maternal grandmother, Eleanora Miller of Erie; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her infant brother, Joey Banner; her paternal grandfather, Denis Banner; and her maternal grandfather William Miller. Cynthia Lynne Borger Cynthia Lynne Borger, 40, of 302 Walnut St., Reno, died Friday, April 8, 2005, at Presbyterian University Medical Center, Pittsburgh. Born March 31, 1965, in Franklin, she was a daughter of Robert and Judith Hockman Griffen. She was a Rocky Grove High School graduate. Mrs. Borger worked the past eight years at Matthew's Hallmark in the Cranberry Mall, where she was assistant manager. She previously worked at Big Value Builders in daycare. Mrs. Borger enjoyed sunshine and beaches. She raised miniature dachshunds, enjoyed arts and crafts, reading, baking and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Mrs. Borger particularly enjoyed spending time with her family, her nieces and nephews. She was married Oct. 22, 1983, to David D. Borger of Franklin, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Nicholas D. Borger of Franklin; four sisters, Tamatha Renee Harris of Hannaville, Lori A. Lindsey of Rocky Grove, Cheri M. Griffen and Wendi A. Griffen, both of Franklin; and seven nieces and nephews, Zach and Kelsey Harris, Dylan, Shawn, Rachel and Samantha Lindsey, and Evie Mae Haskins. Also surviving are her special friend, Michael A. "Pat" Johnston Klingensmith, 72, of Sligo, died unexpectedly at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, April 10, 2005, at her home. Born Aug. 9, 1932, in Sligo, she was the daughter of James A. and Marie Burns Johnston. She retired in 1975 as a clerk in the Clarion County commissioners office. Mrs. Klingensmith was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, reading and playing cards. She was a lifetime member of the Sligo United Methodist Church where she was active in the choir. Mrs. Klingensmith was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Clarion Chapter No. 267, the Red Hat Society Royal Rubies of Sligo, the Sligo Card Club, the Clarion County Historical Society and was president of the Sligo Alumni Association. She was married June 6, 1953, to Albert "Ab" Klingensmith Jr. who survives. Also surviving are one brother, Robert A. Johnston, of Summerville; two sisters, Lois M. Fillgrove of Callensburg, and M. Jeanne Laughlin of New Bethlehem; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Klingensmith was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Alma Johnston and P. Leona Painter; and one brother, Clifford M. Johnston. Siar, 60, of Waterson Road, Strattanville, Saturday, April 9, 2005, at Jefferson Manor, Brookville. Born April 4, 1945, in Brookville, he was a son of Robert A. and Violet K. Fye Siar. Mr. Siar was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam era. He is survived by his companion, Pam Lutz of Strattanville; one brother, Robert E. Siar of Corsica; one sister, Dorothy R. Stallsmith of Salem, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Siar was preceded in death by his parents. There will be no visitation and services will be held at the convenience of the family.
