"Red" Myers, Route 68, Sligo Marilyn Joyce "Lynne" Wingard, Polk James Ryman Bierly James Ryman Bierly, 76, of Harrisburg, died Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at Homeland Center, Harrisburg. Born Nov. 17, 1928, in Milesburg, he was the son of James Ryman and Amelia Jacobs Bierly. He earned a bachelor of science in education from Clarion, a master's in education from Penn State and a B.S. in science from Clarkson College of Technology, Potsdam, N.Y. Mr. Bierly taught science and math for five years in Knox and high school math for 33 years in Williamson Central School District, Williamson, N.Y. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. Bierly lived most of his life in East Williamson, N.Y., where he served in the East Williamson Fire Co. for 40 years and was a fire commissioner for 34 years. He served in the consistory of the East Williamson Reformed Church for more than 20 years. He was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Harrisburg Mr. Bierly was married for 54 years to Jean Means Bierly of Knox. She preceded him in death March 28, 2005. Surviving are a daughter, Kim E. Kniley and husband, Steve, of Harrisburg; a son, the Rev. Steve R. Bierly and wife, Deborah, of Hull, Iowa; four grandchildren, Lisa Kniley Fleming and Mark Kniley of Harrisburg and James R. Bierly and Abigail R. Bierly of Hull, Iowa. He also is survived by a brother, Norman Bierly of State College; two sisters, Shirley Corman and Anna Bierly, both of Bellefonte; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Bierly was preceded in death by a son, James Lee Bierly, and a brother, Robert Bierly. Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday in the Milesburg Presbyterian Church, 103 Turnpike St., Milesburg, with the Rev. Dr. John A. Schmidt and the Rev. John Becker officiating. Box 179, East Williamson, N.Y., 14449. Thelma G. Graeser Faulkner Thelma, G. Graeser Faulkner, 77, of Tionesta, died Wednesday, April, 6, 2005, in Beverly Healthcare-Titusville. Born April 15, 1927, in Ingram, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence E. and Bertha Keller Graeser. Mrs. Faulkner was a 1945 graduate of Tionesta High School. She was married in Tionesta Nov. 20, 1946, to Frank K. "Jun" Faulkner Jr., who survives. They had been married for 59 years. Mrs. Faulkner and her husband were co-owners of Faulkner's Red & White Grocery Store of Tionesta and established Faulkner's Plaza, Super Duper. She was a member of the Tionesta United Methodist Church and the Sylvania Chapter No. 102, Order of Easter Star, of Tionesta. Mrs. Faulkner's hobbies included painting and stain glass and she loved all arts and crafts. She enjoyed playing golf and spending time with her family, friends and particularly her grandchildren. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are four daughters, Cynthia Millin and husband, Paul, and Pamela F. Millin and husband, John, all of Tionesta, Bonnie F. Waggett and husband, William Jr., of Seneca and Mitzi Bowen and husband, Chuck, of Marshall, Texas; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She also is survived by a brother, Lawrence "Buz" Graeser of Winter Haven, Fla.; a sister, Betty J. Spishock of Haines City, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. "Betty" Jolley, 88, formerly of 3181/2 Egbert St., Franklin, died at 10:05 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2005, in The Caring Place, Franklin. Born Oct. 18, 1916, in Oil City, she was the daughter of William C. and Mary C. Johnson Jolley. She was a graduate of Rocky Grove High School. Miss Jolley worked for GTE for 45 years, retiring in 1981. She began her career as an operator in Franklin. In 1952 she moved to Johnstown and worked in the traffic division. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Franklin, The Civic League and the Colonel Drake Pioneer Club. Miss Jolley volunteered for Meals on Wheels, RSVP and AARP. She enjoyed traveling. Surviving are a brother, William M. Jolley of Meadville; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Jolley of Elizabethtown; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Miss Jolley was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn and Eleanor in infancy; and three brothers, Delbert Jolley, Richard Jolley and Donald Jolley. LaRue W. 'Red' Myers LaRue W. "Red" Myers, 76, of Route 68, Sligo, died Tuesday, April 5, 2005, in the Clarion Hospital after a short illness. Born Sept. 24, 1928, in Monroe Township, Clarion County, he was the son of Clark R. and Elanor Shankel Myers. Mr. Myers did farming, was a coal truck driver, machinist for Nsas in Cleveland, Ohio, security guard at the former Sheraton Inn in Clarion and worked at the Clarion County Airport until his retirement. He enjoyed reading and studying his Bible, restoring old tractors, farming and doing Foster Brooks type imitation. Mr. Myers was a member of the Edenburg Masonic Lodge No. 550 in Knox. Surviving are a daughter, Allyson Patton and husband, Robert, of York Springs; a stepdaughter, Cindy Harwick of Salisbury, N.C.; a stepson, Stanley Sowl and wife, Sandy, of Clarion; a cousin Dennis C. Myers of Sligo; six grandchildren, Natalie and Emma Patton, Bridgette Beinhaur, Matthew Sowl and C.J. and Patrick Harwick; and numerous cousins and friends including Jeff Lewis. His parents preceded him in death. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Goble Funeral Home, 330 Wood St., Clarion.
