    3. The Derrick, Tuesday, February 8, 2005: Elizabeth Ann Thompson, Knight Town Road, Shippenville Charles R. Wazenegger, Fisher Cynthia Sue Benson, getting it right Elizabeth Ann Thompson Elizabeth Ann Thompson, 87, of Knight Town Road, Shippenville, died Monday morning, Feb. 7, 2005, at her residence following a lengthy illness. Born Nov. 24, 1917, in Van Buren, Ark., she was the daughter of George W. and Nancy Carlton Spear. Mrs. Thompson was a member of the Jamestown Methodist Church, Jamestown, Pa., and also was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Gibsonia. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Thompson was married Oct. 28, 1945, to Paul E. Thompson, who died in July 1987. Surviving are one son, Paul E. Thompson and wife, Susan, of Shippenville; two daughters and their husbands, Patricia A. and Hugh R. Patton of Monroeville and Sally L. and Kenneth L. Rush of Sewickley; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by two brothers, George Spear and Percy Spear; and a sister, Irene Brown. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday in the William N. Rupert Mortuary in Knox. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Randy Evans, Clarion-Forest County Hospice Chaplain, officiating. Interment will be in the Park Lawn Cemetery, Jamestown, Pa. Charles R. Wazenegger Charles R. Wazenegger, 89, a Pittsburgh native, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2005, at his residence in Fisher. The Goble Funeral Home of Clarion is in charge of arrangements. Getting it right - Cynthia Sue Benson Cynthia Sue Benson, 53, of 1044 North St., died early Friday morning, Feb. 4, 2005, at her residence. Among her survivors is a sister, Beth Seyler of Oil City.
