Eileen Hunt, 524 Plummer St., Oil City Mary Ann McHenry, Rimersburg Marlene M. Young, New Bethlehem Edna Mae Deemer Edna Mae Deemer, 80, of Wilson Avenue, Clarion, died Friday, May 6, 2005. Born Sept. 2, 1924, in Kingsville, she was the daughter of Ralph E. and Carrie O. Menser Aaron. Mrs. Deemer worked for 30 years at Owens-Illinois, Clarion, before her retirement. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Clarion and the Golden Emblem Club of Owens-Illinois. Mrs. Deemer enjoyed playing cards with her friends. She was married Feb. 20, 1946, to Paul L. Deemer, who died March 14, 1995. Surviving are a son, Gary A. Deemer of Clarion; a son-in-law, Reicks Sagges of Ohio; a daughter, Mary Cutter and husband, Moses, of New Kensington; three grandchildren, Denise Clingler, Kathy Mitchell and Richard Sokol; 14 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. She also is survived by a sister, Bernice Frampton of Clarview Rest Home, Sligo. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Deemer was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Rena Marie Sagges; a stepson, Paul Leroy Deemer Jr.; three sisters, an infant Evelyn Aaron, Maxine Frampton and Bernie Aaron; one brother, Tom Aaron; and a granddaughter, Sherry Deemer. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Goble Funeral Home of Clarion. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Msgr. Joseph J. Riccardo, pastor of the Immaculate Conception Church in Clarion, presiding. Interment will follow in Clarion Cemetery. Donna J. Greenlee Donna J. Greenlee, 70, of 6136 U.S. Route 322, Franklin, died at 10:14 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2005, in UPMC Northwest, Seneca. Born Oct. 10, 1934, in Sligo, she was the daughter of Wes and Mary McKinney Whitten. Mrs. Greenlee was a homemaker, loved her family and took particular interest in the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was devoted to her cocker spaniel, "Muffy." She enjoyed puzzles and yard sales. Mrs. Greenlee was married June 6, 1954, to Peter Greenlee, who died Sept. 26, 2003. Surviving are two sons and their wives, William and Patricia Greenlee and Rex and Lori Greenlee, all of Franklin; five grandchildren, William Greenlee Jr. and wife, Janet, Alison Greenlee, Sarah Greenlee and Rachael Greenlee, all of Franklin, and Jennifer Fish and husband, Andrew, of Pleasantville; and six great-grandchildren. She also is survived by two brothers, Ralph Whitten and wife, Dorothy, of Franklin and Richard Whitten of Seneca; and a sister, Doris Van Wormer and husband, Skip, of Van. Joseph Dale Henderson Joseph Dale Henderson, 87, of 506 Eastern Ave., Woodsfield, Ohio, died Friday, May 6, 2005, in Monroe County Care Center, Woodsfield. Born Sept. 15, 1917, in Coshocton, Ohio, he was the son of Joseph E. and Bessie Fretague Henderson. He had been in the U.S. Civic Service and War Department and was awarded the Outstanding Civilian Service Award with a Purple Heart. Mr. Henderson was a retired engineer and school teacher, having taught drafting for several years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Woodsfield. Mr. Henderson was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Woodsfield and was a member of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association and the Monroe County Retired Teachers Association. Surviving are his wife, Leahruth Sheffer Henderson, whom he married June 20, 1942; two sons and their wives, Gregory Dale and Charlene Henderson of Surfside, S.C., and Jeffery Lee and Darlene Henderson of Chapin, S.C.; one foster daughter, Betty Edgington of Graysville, Ohio; three grandchildren, Christine Henderson, Danielle Henderson and Michael Thomas Henderson; and one-great-granddaughter, Haley. M. Eileeen Hunt M. Eileen Hunt, 87, of 524 Plummer St., Oil City, died at 2:10 a.m. Sunday, May 8, 2005, at her home following an extended illness. Born July 26, 1917, in Oil City, she was the daughter of James E. and Frances G. Fleischmann Hunt. She was a 1936 graduate of St. Joseph High School and completed a course in computer literacy at Clarion University. Ms. Hunt had been employed by Oilwell Division of U.S. Steel Corp. for 42 years, retiring in 1980 as executive secretary to the works manager. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Church and was a member and past president of St. Joseph Rosary Society. She was a life member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and was a charter member of the Prime Timers of St. Joseph Parish. Ms. Hunt was a volunteer for many years in the Hospitality Shop of the Oil City Hospital. She also was a member of the YMCA and the YWCA Gallivanters. Surviving are two sisters, Marion B. Camp and Mildred R. Hare, both of Oil City; 15 nieces and nephews, James F. Camp, Marcia A. Camp, W. Gregory Camp, John P. Hare, Karen E. Neiderriter, Kevin M. Camp, Thomas E. Hare, Peggy F. Winger, Kate Wilson, LTC (ret.) James E. Gierlak, Robert M. Camp, Roberta M. Faller, Jeffrey M. Hare, Mary P. Brown and Martha J. Camp; 22 great-nieces and great-nephews; and 12 great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. In addition to her parents, Ms. Hunt was preceded in death by two bothers, James E. Hunt and George P. Hunt; two sisters, Gertrude F. Hunt and Alice K. Gierlak; a twin sister, Marie Eleanor, who died in infancy; three brothers-in-law, William R. Camp, John J. Hare and LTC Michael P. Gierlak; and a sister-in-law, Mary A. Hunt. Mary Ann McHenry Mary Ann McHenry, 70, of Rimersburg, died at 2:15 p.m. Sunday, May 8, 2005, in Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Sligo, following a three-year illness. Born June 5, 1934, in Karns City, Butler County, she was the daughter of Clarence Lane and Ethel Sherwin Olson. She was a 1953 graduate of Karns City High School. Mrs. McHenry was a member of the Sligo United Methodist Church and was a former member of the Cherry Run United Methodist Church until its closing. She was a member of Rebekah Lodge No. 123 of Rimersburg. Mrs. McHenry was married at the home of the Rev. R.K. Atchison in Rimersburg June 13, 1953, to Budley Clarke McHenry, who survives. Also surviving are five daughters, Donna Lee Leonard and husband, Edward, of Port Charlotte, Fla., Beverly Ann McHenry of Pittsburgh, Cheryl Marlene McKelvey and husband, Kenneth D., of Elmer, N.J., Betty Lou Anthony and husband, Virgil, of Rimersburg and Bonnie Sue Himes and husband, Tracy, of Parker RD 1; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McHenry was preceded in death by one brother, James Lane Olson, Feb. 7, 2004; and one sister, Jenna Mae Craig, Sept. 24, 2003.
