"Deb" Holowell, Congress, Ariz., formerly of Oil City Linda M. Hartle McMillen, 110 Moran St., Oil City Vivian L. Say, Emlenton Donald E. Boal Donald E. Boal, 51, of 4402 Georgetown Road, Franklin, died at 4:32 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2005, the result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident at 441 Glenn School Road, Sandy Lake. Born Aug. 18, 1953, in Titusville, he was the son of George F. Boal III and Wanda C. Eiseman Boal. Mr. Boal was a 1971 graduate of Rocky Grove High School. He was a Vietnam era veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Boal was a laborer for Laborers Union, Butler Local No. 323. He was a lifelong member of A.B.A.T.E. and the motorcycle club, The Huns. Mr. Boal enjoyed huntiing, his dogs and motorcycles, along with visiting family and friends on a regular basis. Surviving are his parents, George and Wanda Boal of Cooperstown. Also surviving are two brothers Brian L. Boal od Cooperstown and Randy G. Boal and wife, Diana, of Cochranton; two sisters and their husbands, Theresa and Gale Longwell of Franklin and Barbara and William Wiggins of Utica: and 10 nieces and nephews, Howard Stone of Clintonville, Jim Hinds of Kannapolis, N.C., Amanda Boal and Emily Boal, both of Cochranton, Tricia Boal Lawson of Oil City, Wendy Wiggins and Michael, Bill and Kevin Wiggins, all of Utica, and Jessica Bodien of Polk. Coleman, 86, of 110 Horatio St., Punxsutawney, died Sunday, June 12, 2005, in Jefferson Manor, Brookville. Born June 16, 1919, in Punxsutawney, she was the daughter of Bernard and Mary McMullen. Mrs. Coleman was a member of the First Church of God in Punxsutawney. She was married July 18, 1936, to Vernon A. Coleman, who died Nov. 4, 1995. Surviving are two daughters, Shirley McCaskill and husband, William, of Punxsutawney and Catherine Coleman of Oil City; two sons, Edward Coleman and wife, Yvonne, of Hopewell, Va., and the Rev. Edward Coleman and wife, Darlene, of New Brighton; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She also is survived by four sisters, Irene Loch of Penn Yan, N.Y., Helen Mannerberg of Canaseraga, N.Y., Nora Mae Gelnett of Rossville, Ga., and Wilma Myers of Buffalo, N.Y.; and one brother, Fred Mannerberg of Deland, Fla. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Coleman was preceded in death by two sisters, Ella Hollerman and Evelyn Outlaw; and two brothers, Robert Mannerberg and Charles Mannerberg. Glenn Howard Davis Glenn Howard Davis, 55, of Norristown, formerly of Oil City, died Thursday, June 9, 2005, at Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia. Born July 17, 1949, in Plainfield, N.J., he was the son of the late Donald Eugene and Eleanor Muzette Smith Davis. His earlier childhood years began in Cranford, N.J., then moving to Phoenix, Ariz., for several years and later returning with his family to Oil City, where he graduated in 1967 from Oil City High School. Mr. Davis moved to Norristown from Oil City in 1972 after graduating from Penn State with a bachelor of architectural engineering degree. He was employed by Kling Partnership, an architectural engineering design firm in Philadelphia, for 34 years, beginning with an internship in 1971, starting full-time in 1972 as a mechanical engineer, and then appointed to a project managing position along with being elected as an associate of the firm. He served many years as project manager on numerous high tech projects. One of many achievements included the completion of a multi-billion dollar project for the NASA Group. For his contributions while working on the NASA project, he received the NASA Group Achievement Award for his exemplary teamwork, extraordinary dedication, and excellent contribution for the completion of George C. Marshall Space Flight Center Site Piping Project in 2001. Mr. Davis was a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers, Inc. since 1979. He demonstrated a tireless life-long commitment to family and friends and was Methodist by faith. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by a brother, Gary A. Davis of Marienville; and two nieces and two nephews. He will be buried at the gravesite of his parents in Oil City. Mr. Davis had requested that any recognition to his memory by family and friends be made in the form of contributions to Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Ave., Philadelphia, 19111. A memorial to his memory for his friends and co-workers will be planned later. Delbert C. 'Deb' Holowell Delbert C "Deb" Holowell of Congress, Ariz., formerly of Oil City, died Wednesday, June 8, 2005, in Arizona. Born March 19, 1932, in Plumville, Indiana County, Pa., he was the son of Nancy and Ira Holowell. Mr. Holowell was employed by the City of Oil City until moving to Akron, Ohio, in 1968, then moving to Arizona in 1994. He loved motorcycles and horses, which made Arizona weather the perfect place for retirement. Surviving are his wife, Pat; a daughter and her husband, Sue and Tom Taormina of Randolph, Ohio; a son, Tom Holowell and fiancee, Henrietta, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; three stepsons and their wives, Mike and Ann Lough of Illinois, Dan and Linda Lough of Connecticut and Steve and Carol Lough, of Arizona; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He also is survived by a sister, Betty Dickerson and husband, Bob, of Smethport; two brothers, Roy Holowell and wife, Shirley, of Oil City and Florida, and Ernie Holowell and wife, Melinda, of California; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Holowell was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; Isabelle, LaRue and Clara; two half sisters, Ester and Millie; and a half brother, Jack. Cremation will take place with a memorial service to be held in the fall in Congress, Ariz. Linda M. Hartle McMillen Linda M. Hartle McMillen, 49, of 110 Moran St., Oil City, mother of Robert, Todd and Jason McMillen of Oil City, died at 11:59 a.m. Sunday, June 12, 2005, in Clarion Hospital. Vivian L. Say Vivian L. Say, 74, of Emlenton, died at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2005, at her home following an extended illness. Born Oct. 11, 1930, in Clarion County, she was the daughter of Floyd and Ida Eddinger Coast. Mrs. Say was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, cooking and the company of her grandchildren. She attended St. Petersburg Church of the Nazarene. Mrs. Say was married Nov. 23, 1947, to Herbert R. Say, who died March 9, 1977. Surviving are four daughters, Carol Jenkins of Knox, Patricia S. Wolfe and her fiance, Randall Stewart, of Titusville, Judy Hartzell of Knox and Mrs. Wayne (Janet) Dittman of Oil City; one son, Gary T. Say of Emlenton; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She also is survived by one sister, Rose Sherman of Knox; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Say was preceded in death by a son, Ralph Say, March 17, 2005; and a brother, John Kautchick.
