Jamison, Durham, N.C., formerly of Harrisville Donna Lee Hollabaugh Jarzenski Wilson, 1316 Deckards Run Road, Cochranton Richard Eugene "Dick" Wiser, Colerain Street, Sligo Harry R. Barbour, 49, of 1819 Harrisville Road, Stoneboro, Worth Township, died with his family by his side at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007, in UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Born Sept. 22, 1958, in Grove City, he was the son of Donald A. and Eleanor R. Pearson Barbour. He was a 1976 graduate of Lakeview High School, attended Franklin & Marshall College of Lancaster and graduated from Penn State University with a degree in ornamental horticulture. Mr. Barbour, along with his family, owned and operated Stoneboro Nurseries. He also was a past president of the Pennsylvania Landscape Nursery Association. He was a member for several years of the Irwin Presbyterian Church where he served as Sunday school superintendent, an elder and youth leader. He presently was a member of the Sandy Lake Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder and was involved in many church ministries and programs. When his illness kept him from being active in church, he spent his time lifting up his church family in prayer. Mr. Barbour was very community minded and spent countless hours involved with many civic groups and community organizations. He especially loved serving as a director for the Great Stoneboro Fair. His family was his pride and joy. Mr. Barbour was married June 21, 1980, to the love of his life, Rebecca L. "Becca" McClearn, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Alexander G. Barbour, Jeremy D. Barbour and David R. Barbour, all at home; his parents of Stoneboro; three brothers and their wives, William W. and Carol Barbour of Stoneboro, John A. "Jack" and Lisa Barbour of Mars and Donald B. and Deborah Barbour of Stoneboro; and his beloved nieces and nephews, Matthew I. Barbour, Douglas B. Barbour, Meghan F. Barbour, Janice M. Barbour, Andrew J. Barbour, Meredith L. Barbour, Lindsay R. Barbour and Luke A. Barbour. Mr. Barbour was preceded in death by his grandparents and his mother-in-law, Frances D. McClearn, whom he loved dearly. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the Scott A. Black Funeral Home, 99 Franklin St., Stoneboro. Fennick, 87, of 21 Little Pine Place, Franklin, died at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007, in UPMC Northwest, Seneca. Born Jan. 26, 1920, in Jackson Center, she was the daughter of Merle and Mary Elizabeth Webster Campbell. She was a graduate of Mercer High School. Mrs. Fennick was a former member of the board of directors of the Community Concert Association. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Franklin. Mrs. Fennick was a homemaker and enjoyed family time with her grandchildren and traveling. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority. On Dec. 1, 1943, she married Harry A. Fennick, who died Jan. 19, 1996. Surviving are a son, H. Edward Fennick and wife, Mary, of Franklin; three grandchildren, Sean Fennick and wife, Heather, of Siler City, N.C., Ryan Fennick and wife, Stacia, of Oil City and Caitlin Fennick of Franklin; and three great-grandchildren, Olivia Pearl Fennick of Siler City, N.C., Carson Fennick and Brea Fennick, both of Oil City. She also is survived by a brother, Merle Campbell and wife, Joanne, of Harrisville. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Fennick was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Lynn and Mabel Porter. Grace Katherine Goral, 85, of Hurst, Texas, formerly of Franklin, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2007, in Hurst. Born March 29, 1921, in Rocky Grove, she was the daughter of the late William and Ella McMurdy. She graduated in 1938 from Rocky Grove High School. For many years, Mrs. Goral worked as a secretary for the Machinists Union in Franklin. She was a member of St. Patrick Church in Franklin. Mrs. Goral enjoyed sewing, pottery, cooking, baking, bird watching and the company of her favorite dog, Penny. One of her favorite pastimes was watching professional baseball, especially the Texas Rangers and the Pittsburgh Pirates. She was married to Joseph "Joe" Goral, who preceded her in death in September 1999. After the death of her husband, Mrs. Goral moved from Franklin to Texas where she was very well cared for at the home of her daughter, Victoria Goral Benefield and her husband, William Benefield, for the past six years. After suffering a fall in October 2006, Mrs. Goral entered rehab in Hurst, Texas, and then developed congestive heart disease and renal failure. Surviving are her three children and their spouses, Rosella Bunch of Phoenix, Ariz., Ronald and Carolyn Kohler of Grantsville, Md., and Victoria and William Benefield of Hurst, Texas; nine grandchildren, Juli, Jack, Sheila, Brian, Shelley, Chris, Michael, Marnie and Laura; and 11 great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Jake, Kyle, Haley, Joy, Morgan, Alan, Samuel, Ryan, Elizabeth and Jordan. She is survived by her brother, William McMurdy and his wife, Jane, of Phoenix, Ariz.; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Goral was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia "Ginny" Smith and Dorothy "Dot" Robertson. Jamison, 80, of Durham, N.C., formerly of Harrisville, a retired Harrisville funeral director, businessman and mayor, died at 8:15 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, in Durham following a lengthy illness. Born Jan. 18, 1927, in Fairview Township, Mercer County, he was the son of the late J. Leishman and Mary Jane McNay Jamison. Mr. Jamison was raised in Fredonia and graduated in 1944 from Fredonia Delaware High School. He attended the University of Pittsburgh and graduated with highest honors from The Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, Class of 1953. He resided from 1955 until 2001 in Harrisville where he and his late wife operated the Harold C. Jamison Funeral Home until his retirement in 1989. In conjunction with the funeral home, he operated an ambulance service which served the community from 1955 until 1976. He also founded and operated Harrisville Memorials from 1968 until 1982. Mr. Jamison had been a member of both the Butler and Mercer counties Funeral Directors Associations. Mr. Jamison was a member of the Harmony United Presbyterian Church of Harrisville. He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II. He was past commander of Fredonia American Legion Post 919 and a 50-year member of Harrisville American Legion Post 852. Mr. Jamison had served as mayor of Harrisville and was a volunteer firefighter. He was a member of the Board of Education of the Slippery Rock Area School District. He was a member of Grove City Lodge No. 603 F. & A.M., and a past master of the former Cedar Lodge No. 800 F. & A.M. of Grove City. He was a member of York Rite Bodies of Freemasonry in Greenville and many other honorary bodies. He was past grand commander of Grand Commandry of Knights Templar of Pennsylvania and also was a member of the Scottish Rite of the Consistory, Valley of New Castle. Mr. Jamison was married Nov. 27, 1947, to the former Betty Cline, who preceded him in death Nov. 27, 2003. Surviving are a daughter, Kathleen A. Curry and husband, Charles, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; two sons, Ronald C. Jamison and wife, Brenda, of Durham, N.C., with whom he made his home, and Bruce A. Jamison and wife, Karen, of Pleasant Hill, Ohio; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. He also is survived by a brother, Ralph E. Jamison of Euclid, Ohio. In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Jamison was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Donna Lee Hollabaugh Jarzenski Wilson, 63, of 1316 Deckards Run Road, Cochranton, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007, in Sugar Creek Station, Franklin. Born July 19, 1944, in Meadville, she was the daughter of Kenneth A. and Lillian Carter Hollabaugh. She attended Franklin High School. Mrs. Wilson previously attended Deckards United Methodist Church. She was a housewife and was a NASCAR and football fan. She volunteered numerous times for SIDS research. Mrs. Wilson was a former member of the Lucky 13 CBers Club and still enjoyed talking on the CB. She first was married July 8, 1960, to James H. Jarzenski, who was killed in Vietnam Nov. 4, 1965. She then was married May 7, 1966, to William Wilson, who preceded her in death June 19, 1997. Surviving are five children, James H. Jarzenski and wife, Vicki, of Cochranton, Donna McMaster of Cochranton, Robert Jarzenski and wife, Catherine, of Kinston, Ohio, Diane Haney and husband, Steven, of Franklin and Shirley Yurkanin and husband, Jeffrey, of Utica; seven grandchildren, James H. Jarzenski Jr., Ashley Jarzenski, Jessica McMaster, Jennifer Irwin, Steven Haney Jr., Taylor Haney and Travis Yurkanin; and four great-grandchildren, Louden and Candence Gledhill and Kenadee and Kamryn Irwin. She also is survived by her mother, Lillian Hollabaugh of Cochranton; five sisters, Linda McCune and husband, Robert, of Franklin, Judy Penfield and husband, William, of Amherst, Ohio, Jean Wajton and husband, Stanley, of Youngstown, Ohio, Pearl Jenkins and companion, Bob, of Adairsville, Ga., and Mary McClintock and husband, Mark, of Rouseville; and three brothers, Arthur Hollabaugh of Utica, Don Hollabaugh and wife, Bert, of Franklin and Kenneth R. Hollabaugh of Cochranton. In addition to both husbands, she was preceded in death by her father. There are no calling hours. Box 1045, Oil City, 16301. Richard Eugene "Dick" Wiser, 83, of Colerain Street, Sligo, died at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007, in his residence following a lengthy illness. Born Feb. 22, 1924, in Sligo, he was the son of William Homer and Martha Hackbarth Wiser. He attended the Sligo schools. During World War II, Mr. Wiser served as a seaman in tanker service with the Merchant Marines in the Pacific Theater of Operations. Mr. Wiser retired in 1978 from Owens Illinois in Clarion where he was a shift foreman in the selecting department. He was a member of the Sligo United Methodist Church. Mr. Wiser was a member of the National Rifle Association and the North American Hunting Association. He also was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Chicora and the American Legion Post in Rimersburg. He first was married March 31, 1944, in the Rimersburg United Methodist Church to Jean Louise Seybert, who preceded him in death Nov. 9, 1994. He then was married Feb. 22, 1997, in the Sligo United Methodist Church to Betty Jane Johnston Hartle, who survives. Also surviving are two sons and their wives, Richard E. and E. Lucille Wiser of Elyria, Ohio, and Ronald P. and Shari L. Wiser of Sligo; two daughters and their husbands, Gloria J. and Arthur John "AJ" Deitz of Sligo and Pauline J. "Polly" and Larry R. Keefer of Parker; two stepchildren and their spouses, Carl J. and Ann Hartle of North Washington and Mary Ellen and Ricky Hawk of Fenelton; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and 13 step-great-grandchildren. He also is survived by two brothers, William Terry 'Butch" Wiser of Sligo and Kenneth Ray Wiser and wife, Sandy, of New Bethlehem; one sister, Mrs. Kay Heeter of Callensburg; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and first wife, Mr. Wiser was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Jessica Wiser, July 29, 2006; and four brothers, Merle E.
