The Derrick, October 24, 2007: Kathryn Lytle Calvert, Bel Air, Md., formerly of Pleasantville Everett VanDerVeer Davis Sr., Wilmington, N.C., formerly of Knox Audrey Marie Greco, Shippenville Jeffrey A. McMillen, 68 Rockwood Ave., Oil City Rose E. Serapine, Courson Lane, Emlenton Katherine M. Steen, Oil City, formerly of Rouseville Kathryn Lytle Calvert, 90, of Bel Air, Md., formerly of Pleasantville, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007. Born in Pleasantville, she was the daughter of the late William T. and Clara S. Lytle. Mrs. Calvert previously was employed by Cyclops Corp. in Titusville, the Pennsylvania Bank & Trust in Pleasantville and the Pleasantville Post Office. She was an active member of the Pleasantville Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday school and sponsored the Youth Fellowship. In retirement years, Mrs. Calvert resided in Florida where she played golf, shuffleboard and bridge. She was married for 67 years to C. Chester Calvert, who survives. Also surviving are a son and wife, Dick and Marge Calvert of Forest Hill, Md.; a daughter and husband, Sally and Jack Sheffler of Pittsburgh; four grandchildren and their spouses; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Calvert was preceded in death by two brothers, William Lytle and Robert Lytle, and a sister, Dorothy Gary. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington St., Titusville. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Presbyterian Church in Pleasantville. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Pleasantville. Everett VanDerVeer Davis Sr. Everett VanDerVeer Davis Sr., 90, of Wilmington, N.C., formerly of Tepee on the Hill, Knox, father of Dixie Jordan of Shippenville, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, in the Davis Health Care Center in Wilmington, N.C. Audrey Marie Greco, 72, of Shippenville, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2007, after a brief illness. She was born in McKeesport and attended McKeesport High School. After raising her family, she went on to earn a LPN degree at Clarion Vocational School. Mrs. Greco was employed for 12 years at Beverly Enterprises in Clarion County. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Clarion, the Immaculate Conception Guild and served as an Eucharistic minister. Mrs. Greco's greatest joy was cooking for and spending time with her loving family. She loved laughing with friends, trips to Las Vegas, Yahtzee, four grandpuppies, Chica, Tiki, Rocky and Lu, and watching football with her boys. She was married for 52 years to her loving husband, Francis G. Greco, who survives. Also surviving are five daughters, Rhonda Killen of Houston, Texas, Roberta Digby of Atlanta, Ga., Tammy Greco of Upsilanti, Mich., Gina Sdao of Atlanta, Ga., and Mary Greco Tapling of Santa Barbara, Calif.; one son, Anthony X. Greco of Carnegie; and six grandchildren, Niki Digby, Austin Piske, Brittany Sdao, Alyssa Digby, Alexus Piske and Gabrielle Greco. She also is survived by one sister, Dolores Fullard of Acme; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Greco was preceded in death by her beloved son, Paul Francis Greco; four sisters; and five brothers. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Goble Funeral Home & Crematory, 330 Wood St., Clarion. A wake service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday in the Immaculate Conception Church, Clarion, with the Rev. Monty Sayers, pastor, presiding. Entombment will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Clarion. Memorials may be made to the Clarion Hospital, Immaculate Conception Church or to a charity of one's choice. Jeffrey A. McMillen, 47, of 68 Rockwood Ave., Lot 3, Oil City, died at 2:45 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2007, in his residence. Born July 18, 1960, in Franklin, he was the son of Orville R. and Lois Jean Graham McMillen. Mr. McMillen was disabled. He enjoyed bike riding, camping and demolition derby and most of all, his family. He was married June 7, 1989, to Bobbi Jean Mann, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Jason Jeffrey McMillen of Oil City; and a stepdaughter, Christine K. McElhinney and husband, Tom, of Mineral Ridge, Ohio. He also is survived by a sister, Valerie Jean Horchler and husband, Jeffrey, of Erie; and four brothers, Joe McMillen and Frank McMillen, both of Franklin, Fred McMillen and wife, Valerie, of McClure and Barry McMillen of Oil City. Mr. McMillen was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, William McMillen; and a nephew, Joe O. McMillen. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday in the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home, 1315 Chestnut St., Franklin. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. Robert C. Bole, VNA Hospice minister, officiating. Interment will be in the Franklin Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family at the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
