The Derrick, Friday, September 24, 2004: Martha A. "Sue" Carll, Tionesta Vivian I. Hargenrader, (Strobleton) Tionesta Martha A. 'Sue' Carll Martha A. "Sue" Carll, 80, of Tionesta, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2004, in Snyder's Memorial Health Care in Marienville. The Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta is in charge of arrangements. A complete obituary will be published Saturday in The Derrick. Vivian I. Hargenrader Vivian I. Hargenrader, 75, of Heritage Lane, (Strobleton) Tionesta, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2004, at her home. Born March 12, 1929, in Endeavor, Forest County, she was the daughter of Lloyd Monroe and Laura Lovida Monday Peeples, both of whom were killed in an automobile accident in August 1971. She was a 1945 graduate of Tionesta High School. Mrs. Hargenrader had been employed at the Erie Infants Home and Hospital in 1947 and then worked as a child nurse in Erie from 1948 to 1952. Her hobbies included quilt making, painting and stamp collecting Mrs. Hargenrader was a member of St. Michael Church in Fryburg and was a member of the Rosary Society of the church. She taught CCD and was involved in Marriage Encounter, Pre-Cana and Cursillo. She enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Hargenrader was married in St. Matthew of the Woods Church, Summit Township, Erie County, Nov. 27, 1952, to Howard G. Hargenrader, who died Jan. 4, 1996. Surviving are six children and their spouses, Michael and Janet Hargenrader of Pittsburgh, Christine and Jay Blondheim of Fryburg, Laura and William Bowser of Beaver Falls, Jane and Wayne Best of Gilfole, Donna and Andrew Neely of Tionesta and Daniel and Jennifer Hargenrader of Milan, Mich. The following grandchildren and great-grandchildren survive: Michael Hargenrader Jr. and wife, Shelly, and son, Levi; Heather Hargenrader and sons, Alex and Ethan; Wesley Hargenrader and wife, Kyle, and son, Dylan, all of Pittsburgh; Sage and Aubrey Bowser of Beaver Falls; Victoria Best of Gilfole; and Amber Neely and John Clinger and wife, Becca, all of Tionesta. She also is survived by a brother, Donald Peeples of Waterford; and two sisters, Ellen Osborn of Waterford and Frieda Wrona of Mill Village. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Peeples. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Faller Funeral Hoe, Inc in Fryburg. A parish vigil service will be held at 3:45 p.m. today in the funeral home with the Rev. David Poulson in charge. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Michael Church, Fryburg, with the Rev. Thomas Aleksa presiding. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Fryburg. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to St. Michael Church, Fryburg.
