Leicht, 764 Innis St., Oil City Donald Wildred Reynolds, Hagerstown, Md., Clarion native Paul Witmer, Springfield, Ohio, formerly of Oil City Gerald C. "Gerry" Zacherl, Clarion Selvada A. Bell Selvada A. Bell, 92, of 302 15th St., Franklin, died at 10:10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004, in The Caring Place, Franklin. Born Feb. 28, 1912, in Venango County, she was the daughter of Chambers and Tirza Lloyd Rummel. Mrs. Bell was a member of the Atlantic Avenue United Brethren in Christ Church, Franklin. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Bell was married Nov. 18, 1949, to Ralph W. Bell, who died in 1987. Surviving are a son and his wife, Daryl L. Bell and wife, JoAnn, of Franklin; seven grandchildren, Randy Bell, Rick Bell, Robin Bell and Timothy Dykins, all of Franklin, Roxanne Bell of Utica, Jeffrey Dykins of Venus and Natalie Prichard of Oil City; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She also is survived by a sister, Edna Stake of Chambersburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by a son, Walter Donald Bell; two brothers, Clarence and Harold Rummel; and two sisters, Effie Beach and Pearl Beach. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home, Franklin. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Gary Small, pastor of the Atlantic Avenue United Brethren in Christ Church, officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens. Earl F. Leicht Earl F. Leicht, 79, of 764 Innis St, Oil City, died Wednesday morning, Sept. 29, 2004, in Saint Vincent Health Center, Erie. Born Aug. 19, 1925, in Oil City, he was the son of Frank and Loretta Weaver Leicht. Mr. Leicht was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He attended Welch's Business College. Mr. Leicht retired as an accountant from OilWell Supply. He was a member of St. Stephen Church. Surviving are two sisters, Ruth Leicht and Pat Lillard and husband Don, all of Oil City; a sister-in-law, Mary Jane Leicht of Oil City; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph Leicht, Daniel Leicht, John Leicht and William Leicht; and four sisters, Jane Kaufman, Mildred White, Loretta Leicht and Marie Shaw. There will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Stephen Church with the Rev. Jeffery Noble, pastor, presiding. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The Morrison Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to St. Stephen Church Second Century Fund or to a charity of one's choice. Donald Wildred Reynolds Donald Wildred Reynolds, 75, of Hagerstown, Md., died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004, in the Julia Manor Health Care Center, Hagerstown. Born Saturday, April 6, 1929, in Clarion, he was the son of the late Amos W. Reynolds and the late Golda P. Bigler. He was a graduate of Clarion-Limestone High School, Strattanville. Mr. Reynolds was a member of the American Legion Post No. 66 of Clarion. Surviving are his caregiver, Roberta Green of Hagerstown; two daughters, Pam Decker of Furnace and Cathy Reynolds; a son, Ronald D. Reynolds; and three grandchildren. He also is survived by four sisters, Evelyn McEntire, Virginia McCall and Doris Williams, all of Clarion, and Eleanor Clark of Oil City. Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by a son, Donald J. Reynolds; and two sisters, Mary Crick and Irene Stewart. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1037 Haven Road, Hagerstown, Md., 21742. The Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd., Hagerstown, Md., is in charge of arrangements. Paul Witmer Paul Witmer, 71, formerly of Oil City, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2004, in the Ohio Masonic Home, Springfield, Ohio. Gerald C. 'Gerry' Zacherl Gerald C. "Gerry" Zacherl, 52, of Clarion, Monroe Township, died unexpectedly of natural causes at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2004, while at work. Born Sept. 9, 1952, in Brookville Hospital, he was the son of Michael J. and Marie Banner Zacherl. He was a 1970 graduate of Clarion-Limestone High School, Strattanville. Mr. Zacherl worked for more than 30 years at Zacherl Motors in Clarion. He also had a school bus contract with Clarion Area School District. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Clarion. Mr. Zacherl was a life member of the National Rifle Association and also belonged to both the Moose and Eagles clubs in Clarion. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and motorcycling. Surviving are four sisters and their spouses, Rose Marie and Don Kahle of Curllsville, Mona Rita and Fred Fox of Reidsburg, Eileen and Peter Parry of Butler and Marilyn and Ronald Chieffe of Hatsfield; two brothers, Donald M. Zacherl of Australia and James A. Zacherl of Clarion; and 18 nieces and nephews. Mr. Zacherl was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home, Clarion. A wake service will be held at 8:45 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am. Monday in the Immaculate Conception Church with the Rev. James Faluszczak, Clarion University Campus minister, presiding. Interment will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
