Coyne Camp, Longmeadow, Mass., and formerly of Oil City John L. Hindman, Harmonsburg Kenneth H. Kohlmeyer, 339 E. Jamestown Road, West Salem Township, Greenville, and formerly of 9 Penn Ave., Greenville Dorothy E. Miller, 821 Victory Church Road, Franklin Joseph Dale "Pete" Moiseenko, Knox Margaret Elizabeth "Peg" Myers, formerly of Halyday Run Road, Oil City Richard L. "Dick" Beightol, 74, of 373 Cooperstown Road, Jackson Township, Cooperstown, died at 1:40 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007, in the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, Pa., following an illness. Born June 10, 1933 in Jackson Township, he was a son of the late David and Margaret McDowell Beightol. He attended Cochranton area schools and graduated in 1952 from Cochranton High School. Mr. Beightol proudly served his country during the Korean War. He had enlisted with the U.S. Army on April 30, 1953 in Pittsburgh and was honorably discharged from active duty at Fort Mead, Md. on March 11, 1955. He attained private first class. He was awarded the National Defense Service, the United Nations Service, the Good Conduct and the Korean Service medals. After his discharge from the service, Mr. Beightol was employed as a burning machine operator at Joy Manufacturing Company of Franklin. He retired in 1995, following 39 years of service with Joy. He will best be remembered by family and friends tinkering around his home with the Cub Farmall "A" tractor. He would spend countless hours grooming his lawn and, in the winter months, plowing snow with his beloved tractor. As his health permitted, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending quality time with his family. He loved and cherished the times he spent with his beloved pug dog, "Puggy." On June 18, 1958, he was married to the former Shirley J. Graham in the Atlantic Avenue United Brethren Church, Franklin by the Rev. Kenneth Graham. She survives. In addition to his wife, Mr. Beightol is survived by his children, Monte Beightol and his wife, Tammy, of Sunville, twin sons, Randy Beightol and his wife, Kelly, of Wyattville, and Ricky Beightol and his wife, Kathy, of Lake Moss, Texas, and a daughter, Marcy Ross and her husband, Willis, of Hannaville; grandchildren, Monte Lee Jr. and his special friend, Patricia, Christopher, Rebecca, Matthew and Josh Beightol, Jacob Ross and his wife, Jessica, Kayla Hughes and Will Anderson, and great grandchildren, Gage, Abigail, William, Holly, Kaliegh, Katelyn and Emma. He is also survived by a brother, John Beightol and his wife, Sue, of Cooperstown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Buster Beightol and Willard Hopwood; a sister, Jane Ruditis, and a granddaughter, Laura Lee Beightol. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no public visitation. A memorial service in celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Timothy E. Hartle Funeral Home, 1328 Elk St., Franklin with the Rev. Brian Borger, pastor of the Titusville First Baptist Church, officiating. Full military burial rites will be accorded by members of the V.E.T.S. Funeral Honor Guard immediately following the memorial service. Burial will be private. Billingsley Dr. Warren E. Billingsley, 71, of 388 Larimer Road, Hadley, died at 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007, in UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. Arrangements are being handled by the Scott A. Black Funeral Home, Stoneboro. A complete obituary will appear in Saturday's newspaper. Joseph Elmer Boyer Sr., 81, of Texas and formerly of Oil City, died at 3:05 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2007, at the home of his son, Joe Jr., at 340 Washington Ave., Oil City, following an extended illness. Born in Oil City on Sept. 17, 1926, he was the son of the late Virgil W. and Beulah Alsbaugh Boyer Sr. He grew up in the Richardsville area near Brookville on his grandparents' farm. Mr. Boyer joined the U.S. Army on May 28, 1942, in Pittsburgh and saw action in the Asiatic/Pacific Theatre. He was honorably discharged as a PFC on Dec. 25, 1945 at Camp Atterbury, Ind. He was awarded the American Theatre Ribbon, Asiatic Pacific Theatre Ribbon with two Bronze Stars, Philippine Liberation with one Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal and the Victory Medal for WWII with Bronze Arrowhead. Mr. Boyer drove truck all his life. He had worked for Kraft Concrete and retired from Klapec Trucking in 1988. Following his retirement, he moved to Texas to be near his daughters. He returned to Oil City for Thanksgiving and was unable to return to Texas due to ill health. Mr. Boyer was of the Protestant Faith. His hobbies included hunting and fishing. In 1947, he was married in Franklin to the former Edna Irene Beichner of Haney, Clarion County. She preceded him in death on Jan. 19, 1994. Mr. Boyer is survived by four children and their spouses, Carrie and Robert McKinney, Beulah Nichols and Debbie and Roy Summerville, all of Venus, Texas, and Joseph E. Boyer Jr. and his fianc,e, Rose Miller, of Oil City, 16 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded by two sisters, Connie Bridge and Carrie French; one brother, Virgil W. Boyer Jr. who was killed in action during the Korean War, and a half brother, Jim Mullens. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Reinsel Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 12:45 p.m. Saturday in the funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Bole, VNA Hospice chaplain, presiding. Full military honors provided by the V.E.T.S. Coyne Camp, 61, of Longmeadow, Mass., and formerly of Oil City, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007, after being stricken ill at home on Monday. Mrs. Camp was the daughter of Dorothy Lucas Coyne and Patrick J. Coyne of Oil City, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Camp grew up in Oil City. After graduating from Venango Christian High School, she entered the convent of the Order of Saint Benedict in Erie. She was a member of the Sisters 66 choir, famous for a singing appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. After leaving the convent she met her husband, Joel, whom she loved dearly. Mrs. Camp was a talented singer and a frequent soloist for years at St. Joseph Church in Warren. She majored in special education at Mercyhurst College, dedicated time to special needs children, was a Girl Scout leader, and until the time of her death, loved her work as a special education aide at Longmeadow High School. Among her many passions, being a wife and mother was foremost. Along with her humor and kindness, she passed on her talents of art, dancing and music to her children, her greatest pride. She was deeply loved and will be truly missed by her friends and family. She is survived by her loving family, her husband of 38 years, Joel F. Camp, and children, J.T. Camp, Jamie Camp and his wife Nicole, Andrew Camp and his fianc,, Elizabeth Moy, Nora Camp and Tyler Camp. Mrs. Camp is also survived by her five siblings, Mary Ann Pack and her husband, Michael, of Houston, Texas, Patricia Winger and her husband, Daniel, and Dolores Coyne, all of St. Joseph, Mich., Rose Porter and husband Thomas of Sturbridge, Mass., and Joseph Coyne of West Middlesex; one brother-in-law and three sisters-in-law. She is also survived by 24 nieces and nephews and 13 grand nieces and nephews. Kohlmeyer, 89, of 339 E. Jamestown Road, West Salem Township, Greenville, and formerly of 9 Penn Ave., Greenville, died at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007, at St. Paul Homes, West Salem Township, Greenville. Born April 8, 1918, in Eau Claire, he was the son of Thomas Lester and Elizabeth Hillard Kohlmeyer. Mr. Kohlmeyer served in the U.S. Army with the 508th Engineers from 1942 to 1945. He was in the European Theater and received five Bronze Stars for Battle, a Good Conduct Medal and the WWII Victory Medal. He was a member of the Nickelville Presbyterian Church in Nickelville. He was a 32nd degree Mason and belonged to the Allegheny Valley F & AM Lodge #552 and the Coudersport Consistory. He was also a member of VFW Post 7073 in Parker since 1948. He was married to Lucille G. Longwell, who survives at St. Paul Homes, Greenville. Also surviving are two sons, Dennis P. Kohlmeyer and his wife, Clara, of Van and James W. Kohlmeyer and his wife, Cheri, of Greenville, four grandchildren and five great grandsons. Mr. Kohlmeyer was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Wilda Caldwell. No services will be held. Miller, 84, of 821 Victory Church Road, Franklin, died at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007, at Sugar Creek Station. Born March 20, 1923 in Chautauqua, N.Y., she was the daughter of Mabel L. Flaherty and George W. Stevens, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Miller was a housewife. She attended Victory Heights United Brethren Church. She enjoyed cooking and quilting. When she was a resident of Franklin, Mrs. Miller enjoyed walking to Shop n' Save to see the friendly customers and staff who worked there. She became known as the "little Shop n' Save lady." On Jan. 25, 1992, she married Howard L. Miller, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Miller is survived by two children, Elmer W. Reagle and his wife, Renny, of Franklin, and Mabel Sue Fox and her husband, Tom, of Franklin; four grandchildren, Douglas Reagle of Houston, Texas, Renee Moffatt and her husband, Eric, of Jamestown, N.Y., Brad Reagle and his wife, Sharon, of Union City, and Ryan Hoffman and his wife, Angela, of Sugar Grove; two step grandchildren, Thomas E. Fox of Clearmont, Fla. and Shelly Heckman and her husband, Kevin, of Somerville, and eight great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Lucille Snyder of Franklin, Onalee Dalaba of Franklin and Amelia Ream of Mesa, Ariz., as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition of her parents and husband, Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by a brother, William Richard Stevens and two sisters, Anna M. Stevens and Arlene Ford. No services will be held. Joseph Dale "Pete" Moiseenko, 50, of Knox, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007 at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh from injuries sustained in an automobile accident earlier that day. Born April 10, 1957 in Homestead, he was the son of the late Joseph and Martha Ross Moiseenko. Mr. Moiseenko joined the U.S. Navy in 1974. He trained in Corpus Christie, Texas, to become an aviation plane captain, serving on a naval ship. In 1978 he began working at the Owens-Illinois glass plant in Clarion until attending college. He than became employed at the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in the engineering department as a highway designer. He served as president of his local union and enjoyed attending meetings and being an active member. Mr. Moiseenko enjoyed his horses and drove his team every chance he could. He also found enjoyment in his dog, walking in the woods, taking long car rides, hunting and spending time with his family. Mr. Moiseenko was a Christian man who loved the Lord and enjoyed hearing different pastors and sermons. He was married Feb. 10, 1979, to the former Kimberly Whitmore, who survives. He is also survived by three daughters, Kassy Moiseenko of Knox, Karry Moiseenko of Knox and her fianc,, Craig Russell, and Mary Moiseenko of Natrona Heights; three sisters, Joyce Joyce of Grove City, Janice Johnston on Munhall and Georgia Ballas of Florida, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the William N. Rupert Mortuary, Inc. in Knox. Private funeral services will be held for the family only with the Rev. Chris Lewis officiating. Interment will be in the Knox Union Cemetery. Margaret Elizabeth "Peg" Myers, 92, formerly of Halyday Run Road, Oil City, died at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007 at the Golden Living Center, Oil City. Born April 16, 1915 in Crawford County, she was a daughter of William F. and Abigail Armstrong Kuntz. Mrs. Myers was a graduate of Oil City High School. She worked at First Seneca Bank. She was married to William Alfred Myers, who preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons, William Richard Myers of Pittsburgh and David Robert Myers of Bel Air Maryland; four grandchildren, Tim, Ted, Jason and Melissa; five great grandchildren, Katie, Benjamin, Rosa, Wil and Cora, and one niece, Gail Hicks of Oil City. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Myers was preceded by two brothers, Richard Kuntz and Willard Kuntz and two sisters, Kathryn Kuntz and Helen Kulling. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Morrison Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Joseph E. Filer, IV, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.
