You mentioned Nebraska, Pa. My great grand mother was from the Tionesta area of Pa. Her name was Susan Merril Noble (1881) and her mother was Evaline Smith. The Noble family, I believe was from the Nebraska area. I am sure that Ist cousins married. Evaline married her 1st cousin Jacob Noble. Paul Smith and Catherine Smith Noble were brother and sister. Paul Smith (1836) was Jacob's father. Farmington, Tylerburg, Scotch Hill. are all areas that my Fitzgeralds wandered. I do not remember if you and I have shared information before, but I wander if one or 2 of my Smith/Nobles were in that school picture?
