Budzinski, Hydetown Louis Felix, New Castle Russell Chatley Klinger, Hershey, Cochranton native Mary E. Krizon, 483 Raymilton Road, Polk William E. "Bill" Warner, Big Spring, Texas Louis V. Birsa Louis V. Birsa, 74, of Ahrensville, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, in Ahrensville. Born May 14, 1930, in Oil City, he was the son of Louis V. and Amelia Lovrencic Birsa. Mr. Birsa worked as a cabinet maker for 25 years at Asel's Cabinet Shop in Rouseville, retiring in 1992. He had served as treasurer of the Oil City Knights of Columbus Building Association for the last few years. Mr. Birsa was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Siverly, the Knights of Columbus, PNA and Pulaski Club, all of Oil City, the Sons of Italy and the K of C Golf League. He enjoyed playing golf, woodworking, bowling, time spent on the computer, working around the house and spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Birsa was married in Oil City May 14, 1955, to Nataline A. Kelecic, who died Sept. 30, 1981. Surviving are a son and his wife, David L. and Patricia Birsa of Oil City; a daughter and her husband, Kathleen and Thomas P. Schettler of Ahrensville; three grandchildren, Shannon Birsa of Oil City and Natalie Schettler and Michael Schettler of Ahrensville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Birsa was preceded in death by a brother, Bruno F. Birsa. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Osenider Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in Our Lady Help of Christians Church with the Rev. John Malthaner, pastor, presiding. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations be made to Our Lady Help of Christians Church, the Venango County VNA Hospice or the Oil City Library. David E. Brenneman David E. Brenneman, 84, of Denver, Colo., born in Kennerdell to Ralph and Lulu Brenneman and survived by his wife, Betty, and two sisters, Dorothy Chadwick of Kennerdell and Helen Weaver of Titusville, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2004, in Denver. John N. Budzinski John N. Budzinski, 81, of 12409 Main St., Hydetown, died unexpectedly Thursday morning, Dec. 16, 2004, at his residence. Born Dec. 1, 1923, in Nisko, Poland, he was the son of Casimira and Angela Kohn Budzinski. He was a 1939 graduate of St. Joseph High School in Oil City. Mr. Budzinski was a veteran of World War II, having been inducted into the U.S. Army Feb. 25, 1943, in New Cumberland. He was assigned to Headquarters Co., 188th Parachute Infantry. He served as a scout, obtaining information concerning strength, disposition and probable intentions of enemy forces, route conditions locations for bivouac, information by radio, read maps, made sketches and used compass and field glasses. He was stationed in New Guinea, Southern Philippines and Luzon. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, American Theater Service Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Theater Service Medal with three Bronze Stars, World War II Victory Medal, Bronze Star Medal and Philippines Liberation Ribbon with one Bronze Star. He was discharged Nov. 26, 1945, from Ingomar Separation Center with the rank of private first class. Mr. Budzinski formerly was employed at Struthers-Wells Corp. in Titusville until its closing. He then worked for 18 years at General Electric in Erie until his retirement in 1982. After retirement, he could be found at Church Run Orchard, Titusville. He was a member of St. Walburga Church, Polish National Alliance Group No. 2031, Oil Creek Beagle Cub and the National Rifle Association. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Budzinski was married in St. Walburga Church, Titusville, Nov. 22, 1947, to Doris Nadolny of Hydetown. She survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Karrie Budzinski Valauri and husband, David, of Pittsburgh and Christine Michelle Budzinski of Catskill, N.Y. He also is survived by four sisters, Wanda Garbacz and husband, Anthony, of Oil City, Helen Ethridge and husband, Raymond, of Buffalo, N.Y., Jean Ginka Minter of Florence, S.C., and Louise Harper of Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers, E. Michael Budzinski of North Tonawanda, N.Y., and Bruno Budzinski of Campbell, Calif.; two sisters-in-law, Lois Budzinski of Meadville and Mary Budzinski of Tyrone; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Susan Lowe and Lottie Gist, and two brothers, Matthew Frank Budzinski and Thaddeus Ted Budzinski. Louis Felix Louis Felix, 98, a resident of Avalon Nursing Center, New Castle, formerly of Old Butler Road, New Castle, died Wednesday morning, Dec. 15, 2004, in Jameson Memorial Hospital, New Castle. Born April 25, 1906, in Star Junction, he was the son of Stephen and Clara Molnar Felix. Mr. Felix retired in 1971 from Spring Division of Rockwell International Corp., New Castle, after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Gardner Chapel Assembly of God, New Castle, Mr. Felix enjoyed writing poetry, playing the guitar and painting in watercolor. He was married Aug. 4, 1951, to Virginia Clayton, who died Feb. 17, 2000. Surviving are one stepson and wife, Robert and Janet Jones of Johnstown; two sisters, Julia Covert of New Castle and Mary Nusser of Florida; 10 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Felix was preceded in death by two stepdaughters, June Bonner and Hazel Leece; two grandsons, Mark Bonner and Jon Marshall; three brothers, Steve Felix, John Felix and Andrew Felix; and two sisters, Margaret Johnson and Elizabeth Dout. Russell Chatley Klinger Russell Chatley Klinger, 83, of Hershey, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, in the Health Care Center of the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown. Born in Cochranton, he was the son of Joseph Sibley Klinger and Albertina May Chatley Klinger of Rocky Grove. Mr. Klinger served aboard the USS Arctic in the U.S. Navy as a radio operator during World War II in the South Pacific. After the war, he completed his bachelor of science in business and master of education at Westminster College in New Wilmington. Mr. Klinger was a high school business teacher the majority of his professional career. He retired in 1986 after 26 years of service to the young men and women of the Milton Hershey School. While there, he supervised the school bank, assisted with the yearbook and was the Glee Club Explorer adviser. An avid musician, he played the clarinet, piano, organ and accordion aboard ship, in local bands and for his church. He also enjoyed nature walks, cruises, family vacations and meeting people. Mr. Klinger was active in his community. He was a member of the Free & Accepted Masons of Pennsylvania for more than 50 years, was a Scottish Rite 32nd Degree Mason and was a member of the Hershey Lions Club. He also was a former president of Delta Sigma Pi professional fraternity for men and women pursuing business careers. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he served as a home teacher, branch president, high priest group leader, ward mission leader, teacher and pianist in local congregations and a full-time missionary with his wife, Jane, in the Bronx, N.Y. Mr. Klinger was married for 57 years to Jane Yingling Beer Klinger, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Sherryl J. Bailey of Hershey and Rebecca A. Tatangelo of Tampa, Fla.; one son, Dr. William R. Klinger of Middletown; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ronald Dwayne Klinger. Viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the Hoover Funeral Home, 1225 W. Chocolate Ave., Hershey. Krizon, 80, of 483 Raymilton Road, Polk, died at 3:50 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, 2004, in Sugar Creek Station. Born Feb. 12, 1924, in Youngstown, Ohio, she was the daughter of John and Helen McCormick Miller. Mrs. Krizon was a graduate of Cheney High School in Youngstown, Ohio. She was married in 1942 to the Rev. Warren Hulburt. Together they served the Presbyterian Church in Deerfield Beach, Fla., Polk, Utica, Weedsport, N.Y., and the Boardman Westminster Presbyterian Church in Youngstown, Ohio. He preceded her in death June 12, 1982, and she then was married Feb. 12, 1990, to George A. Krizon, who survives. Mrs. Krizon was employed as a teacher at Spanish River Church Parochial School. She was a member of Polk Presbyterian Church and the Women's Association of the church, and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Deerfield Beach, Fla. Mrs. Krizon was a homemaker and enjoyed her family and traveling. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two children, Warren J. "Bo" Hulburt and wife, Jan, of Boca Raton, Fla., and Mary Ann Pekarek and husband, Dr. Robert Pekarek, of Lake Forest, Ill.; a stepson, Glen Krizon and wife, Judy, of Polk; and three grandchildren, Dale Hulburt of Boca Raton, Fla., and Dr. Brian Pekarek and Kristina Pekarek, both of Lake Forest, Ill. She also is survived by a sister, Lucy Jane Morley and husband, Judge Leo Morley, of Youngstown, Ohio. In addition to her parents and first husband, Mrs. Krizon was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Miller; an infant sister; and one grandson, Robber Pekarek, in 1987. William E. 'Bill' Warner William E. "Bill" Warner, 64, of Big Spring, Texas, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, at his residence of complications from heart disease and diabetes. Born March 23, 1940, he was the son of Wesley "Dude" and Hazel Warner, formerly of Breedtown. Mr. Warner was a 1957 graduate of Titusville High School. He also was a 1961 graduate of a nursing school in Helmuth, N.Y., served in the Air Force and graduated in 1967 from the Oil City Hospital School of Anesthesia. He worked in that capacity until February 2004. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Big Spring, Texas. Mr. Warner also was a lifelong member of the National Rifle Association. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed snow skiing and camping. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Marlene Kapp Warner; two sons, Andrew and Peter; one sister, Patricia Pullease and husband, Robert, of Vero Beach, Fla.; his mother-in-law, Pauline Kapp, his brother-in-law, Paul Kapp and wife, Diane, of Lamartine; four sisters-in-law, Karen Kapp Amsler and husband, Lonnie, of Venus, Edythe Kapp Obenreder and husband, Jim, of Marble, Roxanne Kapp Kahle of Clarion and Glendene Kapp Heidleberg and husband, Nathan, of Midland, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Warner was preceded in death by his father-in-law, John A. Kapp Sr.; two brothers-in-law, Mike Kahle and John A. Kapp Jr.; and several aunts and uncles. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Myers & Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Big Spring, Texas. The family suggests memorials be made to the Home Hospice, 111 E. Seventh St., Big Spring, Texas, 79720. The Myers & Smith Funeral Home, Big Spring, Texas, is in charge of arrangements.
