Forrester, 89, of New Bethlehem, died Thursday evening, Dec. 16, 2004, at Brookville Hospital. Born Nov. 14, 1915, in New Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Leo J. and Prudentia Bondi Cherico. She was married to Denver T. Forrester, who preceded her in death in 1996. Mrs. Forrester was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in New Bethlehem. She was an avid antique dealer and collector and was known throughout the tri-state area for her enthusiasm and love of things past. Surviving are three brothers, Joseph Cherico of Clarence, N.Y., Leo Cherico and his wife, Mafalda (Marie), of New Bethlehem, and William Cherico and his wife, Roxy, of Dayton; a sister, Ann Neutrelle of Ford City; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Cherico and Andy Cherico; and four sisters, Josephine Cherico, Jenny Cherico, Nora Hiles and Rose Zambito. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Rupert Funeral Home in New Bethlehem. A Christian wake service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Charles Catholic Church in New Bethlehem with the Rev. William Laska as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery in New Bethlehem. Kenneth W. Maxwell Kenneth W. Maxwell, 80, of New Bethlehem, died Thursday evening, Dec. 16, 2004, at Brookville Hospital. Born Jan. 10, 1924, in New Bethlehem, he was a son of the late James and Mary Heller Maxwell. A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Maxwell worked as a foreman for Crawford Furniture until his retirement in 1986. He was a member of the VFW, the Loyal Order of the Moose and the American Legion, all in New Bethlehem, and attended New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church. He was married March 20, 1943, to the former Theo Jane Lewis, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Jack B. Maxwell and his wife, Donna, of New Bethlehem, and Robert A. Maxwell Sr. of New Bethlehem; a daughter, Tawna L. Rearick and her husband, John D., of New Bethlehem; a daughter-in-law, Hulda Grendoel of Chatsford, Va.; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David James Maxwell, in 1990. There will be no visitation. Interment will take place in New Bethlehem Cemetery. John C. Schuster John C. Schuster, 61, of Parker, died at 6 a.m. Friday, Dec. 17, 2004, at his residence following an extended illness. Born Aug. 11, 1943, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Frederick and Myrtle Hallewell Schuster. He entered the U.S. Army on March 10, 1965, and was honorably discharged March 2, 1967, with the rank of specialist fourth class. He served 18 months in Okinawa during the Vietnam era. Following his discharge from the military, he was a petroleum truck driver with the Pennsylvania Refining Co. (now Penreco) at Karns City from 1967 to June 2001. He was a member of American Legion Post 598 of Parker for 38 years and was a member of Teamsters Union Local 926. He was of the Protestant faith. He and his family enjoyed traveling in general and especially enjoyed attending Indy car races and visiting the track pits. While the Indianapolis track was the family favorite, they frequently attended races at Homestead, Fla.; Brooklyn, Mich.; Nazareth; Lexington, Ohio; Richmond, Va.; and the Poconos. They also enjoyed sprint car racing at Mercer and Eldora, Ohio. In addition to harassing all the neighborhood children in good fun, he especially enjoyed fueling arguments between his daughter and a special nephew, Eric. He was married June 21, 1968, to Dixie Preston Schuster, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mary Ann of Parker and her fiance, Terry MacKrell of Chicora, of whom Mr. Schuster was most proud to have as a future son-in-law; and a sister, Mildred (Midge) Schuster of Hooker. Survivors also include his father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Jean Preston of Foxburg; and five nieces and nephews in addition to a special nephew, Eric Kriebel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Frederick A. Schuster Jr. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home Inc., Wayne Street, Parker. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with the American Legion and VFW posts of Parker conducting military honors following the service. Interment will be in Parker Presbyterian Cemetery.
